Omona Boy's

Ch. 1

"Awesome! The bell is about to ring and I'm going to be late to class.." I think to myself as I hurry down the hall.

If it hadn't been for those god awful boys I would already be safe and secure in my seat. I could be sitting beside my best friend Taecho and not get written up by the teacher for the third time this week. I sigh as I open the classroom door right as the bell rings.

"Ji Min!"

I look up as my teacher says my name.

"Yes sir?" I say.

"You're late." He answers writing something down.

"Wait.. But I was in the room before the bell rang." I attempt.

"You weren't in your seat. Just sit down now. We will discuss this after class." I obey and quietly walk to my seat.

"Omona Boys?" Taecho asks as I sit down.

I nod. I frown as my pencil falls to the floor. I stick my leg out and attempt to reach it. *Snap!* I gasp as my pencil is broken in half and look up to see a familiar face.

"Jaebum!" I yell.

"Ji Min!" My teacher yells my name and Jaebum smirks before walking back to his seat.

"I swear." I say to Taecho who is drooling.

"Yah! Snap out of it!" I whisper loudly.

I sigh before turning my attention back to the front of class.

-Much later that same day-

"Why!?" I whine loudly as I open the door for Taecho.

"It's only detention Ji Min. I'm sure you'll be fine." Taecho says optimistically.

"It's not fair though. Jaebum should be the one in detention not me!" I yell angrily. People turn and look at me like I have problems as they pass by.

Taecho doesn't say anything but instead stares past me.

"Yah! What is it now!?" I say as someone taps my shoulder. I turn around to see BamBam and Yugyeom standing behind me.

"Oh. Sorry." I say apologetically.

Yugyeom awkwardly bows his head.

I roll my eyes.

"What are you doing?" I ask amused.

"We want you to know that Jaebum hyung is sorry for breaking your pencil." BamBam explains looking at Yugyeom.

"And?" I ask.

BamBam nudges Yugyeom in the side.

"Here's my lucky pencil in return!" Yugyeom says louder than necessary.

BamBam blushes at the embarrassment of the Omona Boy's maknae.

"I can't take this if it's your lucky pencil. Besides I have plenty of other pencils, ok?" I say not taking the pencil.

BamBam groans and grabs my hand. "Accept Jaebum's apology and take my pencil then." He says placing a pencil in my hand. I roll my eyes and nod my head.

"I'll take the pencils then, but I don't forgive Jaebum." I reply annoyed.

"Fine. We'll see you tomorrow in class!" Yugyeom says happily. I smile sweetly and wait for them to leave.

"Why are you here by yourself?" BamBam asks. Confused I turn around and see that Taecho had left me there.

"Detention. Tell Jaebum I said thanks!" I reply sarcastically before squeezing through them to make it to detention.
