Frisk's POV

I watched excitedly through my bedroom window as I saw new people move into the house beside mine. I ran downstairs to find my mom. She was in the kitchen washing dishes.

"Mom! Mom! Someone moved in next door. Can I go say hi?" I exclaimed.

"Heh heh, maybe later sweetheart. I'm busy right now and I don't want you going over there by yourself," My mom said.

"Aww, but I wanted to meet the new neighbours. Why can't I go by myself? I'm old enough," I whined.

"You never know what kind of people they are. Maybe when I finish the dishes we can go, alright?" Mom reasoned.

"Fine," I said and went off to wait.

I was so excited, I couldn't sit still. The water in the kitchen stopped and I perked up then mom came out. She walked up to me and started speaking.

"Alright, we can go now," She said and I jumped up from my seat on the couch and rushed over to the door.

Mom came over, put on her shoes and opened the door. I grabbed her hand and bounced excitedly as we walked. Mom knocked on the door and within seconds it opened. In front of us, stood a tall lady in a long purple dress.

"Hello there, my daughter here noticed you had moved in and wanted to greet you." Mom said.

I waved happily at the lady standing in the doorway.

"Nice to meet you both. My name is Toriel. My husband is out at the moment but my children should be in their rooms. I can go get them if you would like." Toriel explained and I nodded.

She walked away up the stairs in her house and came back with a boy about my age. He had snow white hair and dark red eyes like his mother.

"Hi, I'm Asriel but my friends call me Azzy," He said with a smile.

"Hi! My name's Frisk. It's nice to meet you," I said, holding out my hand.

He shook it then turned to his mom.

"Hey, mom? Is Chara gonna come down and say hi?" Asriel asked.

"I do not think so my child," Toriel replied, placing her hand on his head.

"Alright. Can I go play outside?" He asked.

"Yeah, can he? I can show him around," I asked as well, bouncing excitedly in my spot.

Toriel chuckled and nodded her head. Asriel and I both cheered and ran outside. I took him around to all the places I liked playing. We ended in a treehouse my dad built for me at the beginning of a nearby forest.

"So I heard you mention someone named Chara. Who are they?" I asked Asriel as we sat down.

"Oh, Chara is my sister. She doesn't really like to leave the house. I wish she would come outside with me though," Asriel explained, glancing at the ground.

"Oh, maybe we can see if she'll come outside? I wanna meet her," I suggested.

"We could try, but she's really shy. I don't think she would do it," replied Asriel.

"Well, come on. Let's go see," I said, standing up.

I climbed down the ladder of the treehouse and ran back to our houses. Asriel opened his front door and beaconed me in.

"Come on. You can come in so we can get Chara," Asriel said with a smile on his face.

I followed him inside and he knocked on a door up the stairs.
