Friends?

Shawn and I have been best friends ever since we were 5 years old. We were the type of friends who would have baths together and all that cutesy stuff but that was 14 years ago.
Shawn and I are still besties and we hang out all the time, It is literally like we don't have other friends than each other but we do. My other besties name is Cadence and we have known each other for about 5 years.
I wake up to this very very very annoying buzzing and see that Shawn is calling. Shawn and I have been doing this thing for about a year now where we are each other wake up calls and today it was Shawns turn to call me.
"Morning sunshine" I hear Shawn say happily and I just groan
"What time is it?" I ask wanting to cry because I hate mornings
"It is 7:00 so get your lazy butt out of bed because I am going to pick you up at 7:45 so we can get our first breakfast as seniors, lol" Shawn says while laughing
"Yay" I say with fake enthusiasm
"Alrighty byeeeee" Shawn says as he hangs up the phone.
Today is the first day back at school and I can't believe that I am going to be a senior, like all those years of school and I still have no idea what is happening. I decided to put on a dress with flowers on it today since it is like warmish outside.
When I finally finish getting ready for the day it is 7:40 so I decide to go downstairs and wait for Shawn. He ends up getting to my house at 7:45 on the dotr and usually he comes late so I am very grateful.
"Hey bitch" I say say to Shawn as I get in the car and give him a hug. Hmm he smells nice (A/N lol I have no idea why I put that there)
"Wasss up Adeline?" He says while laughing
"The sky, now drive cause I'm hungry. Where are we going anyways?" I ask
"We are going to your favorite place, Starbucks" He says while giving me this look that makes me feel as if there are butterflies in my stomach.
Okay, let me backup a little bit or should I say a whole lot. I started to like Shawn about eight months ago and I have no idea if he likes me back or not but he keeps giving me like signs or whatever like fml.
"Adeline, are you in there?" I hear Shawn say as a joke
"Yeah yeah I'm still here, I was just thinking" I say sort of embarrassed
"Alright, well we are here" He says while getting out of the car
As soon as I have taken of my seatbelt I see that Shawn has opened my door for me. See these are the signs I am talking about.
"Aww thanks Shawn you are so sweet" I say while getting out of the car and then giving him a kiss on the cheek which causes him to blush.
When we walk into Starbuck I am hit with a strong smell of coffee which I love mind you and we go order
"Hi welcome to Starbucks, what can I get you this morning?" the very perky girl at the counter says
"Hi could I please get two chocolate muffins and two hot chocolate" I say politely
"Sure, would you like the muffins to be heated up?" she asks and I look and Shawn and he nods
"Yes please" I respond with a smile
"Okay, your total comes to $13.50" She says as I take out my card
As I am about to pay Shawn beats me to it and ends up paying which I hate because he shouldn't have to spend his money on dumb food. I look at him and pout since he knows that I hate him doing that and in response he whispers in my ear and says
"My treat, babe" which gives me chills and plus he never has called me 'babe' in his whole entire life but I think that it is hot, lol.
We end up getting to school at 8:30 which is perfect because it gives me enough time to get all my stuff ready and go say hello to Cadence who I haven't seen all summer since she went to Greece on a holiday.
When I finally see Cadence she is so tan and it makes me laugh because I have never seen her so brown before
"Why are you laughing?" Cadence asks while giving me the stank look
"No reason" I say with a smile
"OMG has anything happened with Shawn?" she whispers just in case someone hears
"No" I say while pretending to wipe a fake tear from my eye "but he did call me babe"
"Okay, that's something but is that it?" she asks with an eyebrow raised
"Omg yes now let's got to class so we aren't late" I say while getting up
