t h i r t y

there's another 5 more minutes before the class start and eunji's place is still empty. eunji never skip classes except if she's sick but in case she is sick, she will tell her friend either chorong or jungkook. chorong is stil waiting for eunji at her place. then, the bell rings. she feels something is wrong. she looks at taehyung and jungkook. the boys shrug.
"has eunji text you ?" jungkook asked taehyung. taehyung shakes his head. jungkook fish out his phone and tries to call eunji. taehyung leans his ear closer to jungkook's phone.
"the number you have dialed is not in..."
jungkook removes his phone from his ear and looks at taehyung. 
"probably she turned off her phone." taehyung said.

chorong, taehyung and jungkook decided to search for eunji after school. of course they are worry about eunji because she never skip school plus, they couldn't contact her. chorong will look for eunji together with jungkook while taehyung will go alone. they search at the different places. 
"don't you know anywhere that eunji go often ? or her favourite place ?" jungkook asked chorong as they are searching for eunji.
"she doesn't have one. gosh i'm tired. let's go to a cafe or anywhere where we can buy a drink." chorong fan her face since the weather is hot. jungkook immediately looks at chorong. 
"wae ? i asked to go to a cafe or get some drinks anywhere. why are you so shocked ?" 
'cafe.' 
jungkook just remembered that eunji works at Pink Cafe.
"kaja." jungkook drags chorong to the Pink Cafe and when they arrived, taehyung also just arrived at the Pink Cafe.
"what a coincidence." chorong smiles as she saw taehyung was there too.
"did you know ?" taehyung asked jungkook. jungkook nods his head.
"know what ?" chorong looks at them, confused. taehyung and jungkook ignore chorong's question. the two boys search for eunji as they entered the cafe. 
"excuse me, can i meet, err.. eunji ? perhaps she's here." jungkook asked the cashier. 
"she is supposed to be here but she hasn't come yet. it's already 3pm." the cashier explained. 
"did she calls you ? or your manager ?" 
"we tried to call her but we can't" 
"okay, thank you." jungkook smiles slightly and walks toward taehyung.
"how ?"
"they said eunji is supposed to be here now. they tried to call her but..." jungkook shakes his head in disappointment. taehyung's eyes are wandering around the cafe to look for eunji.
"let's go to her house." taehyung said and was about to walk out from the cafe but chorong drags him inside.
"let's buy some drink first." she said and make an order.
"do you know her place ?" jungkook asked taehyung. 

as they arrived at eunji's house, taehyung quickly knocks the door.
"eunji lives here ?" taehyung nods at chorong's question. he knocks the door continuously. 
"eunji, open the door." taehyung calls for her.
"why this place looks empty ?" jungkook peeks at the window. taehyung goes toward him and looks inside the house. 
"annyeonghaseyo." chorong bowed to a woman around 40's. taehyung and jungkook did the same thing too and walk toward her. she greets them back.
"where's the owner of this house ?" taehyung asked directly.
"i kicked her last night. she didn't pay the rent for 6 months." the woman said angrily.
"nae?!" taehyung, jungkook and chorong jaw-dropped.
"are you guys her friend ?" 
they all nod. 
"if she wants to stay here, pay the rent every month." the woman is still angry.
"ahjumma!" taehyung tries to control his voice.
"wae ? wae?? she didn't pay me so i kicked her." 
"ah waee??!" taehyung's voice starts to raise.
"tch. kids these days are so rude." the woman said and leave them. jungkook ruffles his hair hardly. now, they don't know where to search eunji.
"explain please." chorong suddenly said. she crossed her arms. jungkook and taehyung look at her. jungkook moves his eyes to taehyung.
"bet you know her more." jungkook said to taehyung and taehyung tells them evrrything.
"thought she's an orphanage." chorong said.
"her dad is still alive. he left her."
"i'd never expects her life is a whole mess." chorong faced the ground. she's feeling sympathy towards eunji. 
"let's continue to search eunji. i hope she's still around her." jungkook suggest. 

chorong's pov
we're still searching for eunji. i hope she's okay. i'm really worry about her. she's one of my bestfriend. we've been friend since the elementary school. i saw a girl that looks like eunji from behind. i walk toward her, hoping that is eunji. i tap her shoulder and she looks at me.
"s-sorry. wrong person." i apologized. the girls smiles a little and walks away. my eyes suddenly become wet. i kneel beside.
"eunji eodiya." i mumbled, feeling scared something might happen to eunji. suddenly jungkook's phone rings. i go toward him. it's taehyung. he picks up the call and make loud speaker.
"i found her."
