"Often, a school is your best bet-perhaps not for education but certainly for protection from an undead attack."

I awakened to a howl like death, my body is like a cloud floating in the vast sky. I put aside my blanket beside me and stood up. All the bottled energy rises upward to my head. My thoughts and vision is abstract.

I examined my room in hopes of finding the window... my entire room is ghost-empty and obscure. Except for a ray of sun illuminating the light switch, it seems as though the light is being emitted out of nowhere.

I tiptoed towards the brightened switch so that it won't wake Mom or Enid. I reached my arms out to flip the switch... it had no effect, I looked upwards and sighed "Oh right, The lightbulb needs to be replaced.

But out of nowhere a flash of light came from the four corners of my empty room and damaged my eyesight for a short period of time, I rubbed my eyes and tried to see what just happened. I stumbled and felt an uncomfortable texture, I moved my arms to feel what I just sat on. It was rough, individually pointy but a little wavy, I started to feel a little wet  when I kept on brushing my arms.

My vision began to recover, I was on the front yard. It was morning, the gentle rays illuminated the dews resting on the individual grass.

"schriiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii"

A strident like death echoed through out the yard, I covered my ears and closed my eyes crying and waiting until the noise will stop...

I opened my eyes to see that I was no longer in the yard. Instead a dimmed hallway greeted me, I looked down and I seem to be clutching a silhouette of someone. Someone who I think is important, I can't quite see its face. I noticed that we were surrounded by a pool of lurid red liquid. I looked down towards the silhouette and noticed something that started to drip from its body, I searched for the source of the leak. Before I could, the silhouette completely turned into that same red liquid, I wailed in eldritch horror to find out that it was blood.

I brushed the remaining blood together in hopes of forming the silhouette to it's former body. But instead I soaked myself with it.

I stood up and ran away from the horrific mess, blood dripped from my pajamas whilst I took each step. From far away, at the end of the hallway was a door. Auras of light surrounded the door, I kept running until I've finally reached the door. Ever so slowly I turned the doorknob...

"WAKE UP!"

My body is dew, my eyes are bleach, my hair is like crumpled paper. My arms are still in panic.

"Rida!?" An adolescent voice said whilst rubbing my cheek. It's soft hands were like those of cashmere. I opened my eyes and a familiar ceiling greeted me, a creaking ceiling fan created an uncomfortable ambiance of the room.

"Rida? Are you alright?!" I looked towards the source of the voice, a face full of knowledge greeted me.

"Sumato? W-Wher-where am I?" I asked as I stood up. But before I could, Sumato stopped me "Rida, you need to rest... you're in the Clinic"
