Rida's POV
:::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::

7:53 AM

*Rida yawns*

Hmm... That was a relaxing slumber...

I looked towards Enid who was lying asleep besides me and petted her ever so soft blonde hair.

Enid... I promised to Mom I'd protect you, no matter what.

I smiled and stood up, the sun shined through the windows and illuminated the glass furniture

"Wow" I exhaled

"What a night we just faced yesterday..."

I tiptoed across the lit room to avoid waking Enid up

Tip... Toe... Tip... Toe...

I whispered to myself...

Tip... Toe... Tip... Toe...

I whispered again until I've tiptoed all the way towards the door

Then, did I realize that I forgot my towel

Errss...

I mumbled, and went back to get it and-

"AAURGH!!"

I stumbled upon some crusty old newspaper and fell!

My breathing fastened and I hope that I didn't wake up Enid

I lifted my head and looked towards where Enid slept and I was devasted...

Enid is awake.

I tried to stand up and slid on yet another crusty newspaper.

Enid giggled

"Ate" Enid still giggled. "Okay ka lang ba?" She asked.

"Oh uhm- y-yeah I'm alright, I'm sorry for waking you up" I apologized yet her smile still brings me sunshine and joy even though in the midst of frustration, sadness, and fear.

"Ayos na po ate, Hindi na kailangan ng patawad. Mata na ako kanina lang"

I giggled and hugged Enid as firm as possible, "I'll protect and care for you no matter what happens to me" I whispered gently to her ear...

I asked If she was hungry, "Hindi na po ate, kumain na ako kanina kasama ni-" before she finished her sentence, she quickly covered her mouth and smiled suspiciously.

I reacted to a face full of questions and asked "What's wrong? Are you hiding something from me?" I asked as if I already knew what she's hiding.

"Wala po ate" she giggled even more suspiciously
