After Matt and I finished what most would not-so-kindly call sinning, he rolled off of me as we tried to catch our breath. As I realize what the hell I just did, I can't believe myself. Two days ago I would rather have died that give him anything, and now I'd let him fuck me. I sit up. "I need the kingdom herbalist," I say, as calmly as I can. No matter how much I'm starting to like Matt, even though it's strange and sick and twisted, I don't want his child. I don't want a child. Period. That would seriously hamper trying to get out of his castle and back into my own. He rolls onto his side and looks a me, propped up on one elbow, his other hand moving to trace patterns on my bare skin. I suck in my breath.
"Why?" he asks, smirking at the effect he has on me. "B-because we just had sex," I tell him, frowning as I lay back down. His hand continues to swirl patterns on my skin, dipping lower and lower and getting dangerously close to areas that would cause immense distractions. "Yes, we did," he says, his fingers dipping down once again and making me gasp. "So there's always...a chance...of pregnancy...Herbalists....help with that," I say, struggling to keep myself in control. He shrugs. "You'll be fine," he whispers as his moves down so that his tongue joins his fingers. I stop trying to argue.

After the second time, he gets up and runs a bath. I scramble to get my underclothes and gown back on, before he decides I should join him. While he's gone, I sit on the edge of the bed and start thinking. If I keep acting like this for a few more weeks, he'll start to believe that he's gotten me, like one tames a wild horse. And once he believes that, he'll leave me alone more often.
Once he starts leaving me alone more often, I can return home. Even though I've started to like it here, I remind myself that Matt and I are on opposite sides in a war. I've just got to keep my eye on the prize and convince him to send the herbalist. Getting pregnant would make it significantly harder to escape.
