By the time you reach the age of sixteen, you're allowed to do more things than you could have before. Driving, watching Pg-13 movies, going places at the times you want, and getting a job can all be done at sixteen. Well, at least that is how my parent's lives were when they were sixteen.

It is 3097, it has been 30 years since the revolution. For the first 15 years, everything appeared to be resolving and conditions improving. But as time went on, humans were beginning to possess powers never seen before. The scientist that made these "powers" possible, were not aware of the side effects caused by this seemingly positive addition to humans.

When researchers first set out, their goal was to cure “tree-mans” disease. With this disease, children would grow warts on every surface(or orifice?(:) of their body. These particular warts grew to be more than 5 inches long, similar to branches growing out of a tree. The scientist noted that the warts only appeared to affect light colored children. When faced with this problem, scientist attempted to isolate the gene trait and give the light skinned children darker skin. This turned catastrophic. The result was 90 percent of the kids in the world being of a darker complexion, the disease then continued to spread and began affecting dark skinned children as well.

While scientist scratched their heads in awe, a parent began to do her own research. She began with interviewing all of the parents and children. She would ask them questions like: "When did you first see signs of the warts? What activities did your children do? What areas have your children been exposed to?" After questioning all of those involved, she discovered a link between all of the children. The parents all noted that the children began to grow warts after receiving a small cut on their legs or arms while playing in the junkyard. After discovering this information she collected samples of the warts from all of the children. Noticing that all the children received these injuries the same way and in the same environment, she knew there was a connection.

Luckily, one of the doctors, Mr. HP became curious over the case and decided to discover the truth for himself. He collected the samples the curious women had, and examine them himself. When he examined them, he discovered that all the warts had similar DNA. After discussing what the next step was, the doctor and the mother concluded that they needed to present their findings to other doctors in order to convince them of the connection between the warts. The other doctors were dumbfounded as to why the warts shared such similar DNA. They began discussing what the causes could be for the developing warts on the children.

They knew that Human Papillomavirus (HPV) causes warts to grow form, not only from having sexual intercourse, but also from infected cuts. They then decided to test all the children for this particular virus. The results demonstrated that all of the children indeed had this virus.

With the knowledge they now possessed, they set out to find a cure.

Dr. Hp was very skilled in this department, therefore, he was put in charge of the search for a cure. Dr. Hp was already conducting research on whether or not HPV could cause cervical cancer in people.

After a few years of research, a vaccine for this virus was finally made. This vaccine was able to help children and adults alike to be rid of the HPV virus. After testing the vaccine vigorously, they began to administer it to the children affected by the virus. The results were slow at first, but after being patient, the warts on the children began to disappear, and they became healthier. The doctors then made different variation of the vaccine by making pills, liquid, and powder forms of it. The vaccine appeared to have some side effects like headache and nausea. They were now able to treat people with the HPV virus as well as people living with tree man’s disease. The symptoms completely disappeared, everything seemed to think this disease was no longer a problem.
