"You can't leave me!" I scream right at his face and he put his hands on his ears to protect them from the sound. "I won't rise this baby without you. You can't run off to die and leave me to a man that we aren't sure if he'll even accept me, and that I don't love anymore. I love YOU for God's sake! At "love you" he looks up and I see that his eyes are filled with tears. "You must," he says. "This isn't your world," he responds. "You must go!" "Sure as hell this is my world," I cry and suddenly he falls on his knees. Taking me with him to the ground. "I dinna wanna leave you, Sassenach." "Then don't," I say.
To my surprise, he nods and flies on his feet taking me in his arms. He mounts the horse and takes my arm to drag me up in front of him. Then he sets his horse in galop and we ride back to what would very soon be a battlefield. He calls on Murtagh when he sees him at the fields shore.
"We will go home," Jamie said. "I have understood I need my Sassenach more than this war needs me. Murtagh nods. He mounts his horse and we take off. Home, to Lallybroch.
Hi friends.
I wasn't really sure if I liked the way that Claire just leaves Jamie without protesting, so I decided to write my own version. I'm not really sure if I'll continue though, it depends on how many that reads and seems to like the story and if I get time to write. Be aware that this book includes spoilers from the Outlander-series on both TV and in the books. Most spoilers are there from book one and two/the first two seasons of the show.
DISCLAIMER: "Outlander" belongs to Diana Gabaldon.
