These past few weeks, my boyfriend and I are always quarrelling! Grr! He’s really getting into my nerves. Naiintindihan ko pa nung mga 1st weeks of our fights, pero 3 weeks na! Utang na loob naman! There were days na hindi sya nagpaparamdam, busy daw sya, may ginagawa! Excuses! Mabigat na ba ang magtext kahit na isang beses lang sa isang araw para lang maramdaman ko naman na naalala pa nya ko, hello? Girlfriend here!
Minsan tuloy I can’t my help myself from thinking na baka naman ayaw na sya saken? Nagsasawa? At ang pinakamasakit isipin na baka may iba na sya? Woaah woaah! There Tiffany! Clear your minds, inhale exhale! It’s okay. Everything is under control. ‘Wag kang paranoid! Mahal ka ni Steven, he can’t do that to you. *crossed fingers*

Ayaw ko talaga ng drama kaya lang kase si Steven yun, mahal na mahal ko yun, 6 years na kame, 20 pa lang ako nun at 21 sya nung naging kame. Baka nga nagsasawa na sya sake—

He never calls me on my name unless he’s very serious or angry. OMG! What am I gonna do? Then he can’t pick up because he was what? Busy? WTF!

I arrived exactly on his said time. The restau seems empty. Empty as in no chairs, tables and the likes. JK. I mean empty as in no people just Steven in the middle of the room looking so worried and he’s ahmm? I can’t find the right word but he’s ugggh! Nervous? Constipated? Or Whatever!
Pati tuloy ako kinabahan. Nilapitan ko sya at halata namang nagulat sya. Tumayo sya at inalalayan akong umupo.
Sumenyas na sya at naglabas na ng pagkain ang mga waiters. Hanggang sa kumaen kame at wala pa ding umiimik samen. Wala ka ng maririnig bukod sa spoon and fork pag tumatama sa plate. I can feel the tension.
Pag katapos naming kumain. May nagplay ng violin near us.

I looked at him as he called my name.
“Tiffany, I’m sorry but I don’t want to be your boyfriend anymore!”
“But Steven we’ve been through a lot and --- “
“Yeah, we’ve been through a lot and I think this is the right time to stop ---“
“You can’t do this to me Steven. I love you. We’ve been together for almost 6 years then you’ll just throw that away”
“I’m sorry but I can’t wait anymore”
Naglabas ng cake box yung waiter.
“What’s this?”
“A dessert? Perhaps”
Waaaah! Bwisit na lalake na to! Pagkatapos ng sinabi nya may gana pang mag dessert!
“I’m full. Thanks for this wonderful night. I’m leavin---“
Patayo na sana ako nang bigla nya akong hawakan sa braso.
“Tiffany wait, just this once, please”
Umupo na ko. *sigh*
I was shocked as I opened the box. I looked at Steven and I saw his genuine smile.

“Steven, Wha— What’s the meaning of this?”
He stood up and knelt before me.
“Tiffany, I don’t want to be your boyfriend anymore ‘cause I want to be your fiancé. Let’s spend the rest of our lives together and I want to grow old with you. I can’t imagine a life without you in it, having you by my side is what completes me”
*teary-eyed*
“Before I met you, I never realized how empty my life was. I now know that you and I are truly meant to be together, I wish I could give you everything, but I hope that this ring is enough. Will you give me your hand in marriage? Will you do me the honor of becoming my wife? Will you make me the happiest man alive? Please say yes”
And with that I helped him stand, hug him tight and kissed him on the lip.
