This is going to be a challenging chapter for me to write so please bear with it. I still barely know anything about Nea. I will be making up a lot of stuff to fit my story but please let me know if anything I say is completely off from what actually happened.

Nea's host was a total pain in the neck. He was so suborn! Yes the boy had a life before his Noah memories woke up, but the boy who had called himself was still just Nea in a different sleeping form.

Nea was not having a good day. First his big argument with Allen and then he got smacked by a painful white light. Now Nea sat a far from Allen's consciousness as possible. Where had it even come from? It was dark and lonely back there.

Nea hated the dark. It reminded him of many painful memories. He remembered hiding in dark alleys trying to hide from perverted men with Mana. He remembered it being dark when his mother died. He remembered protecting his brother from the shadows while he was hunted down by the other Noahs. Finally, he remembered drifting into darkness as his precious brother ripped his heart out of his chest.

Nea shuddered and stood. He needed to get back to the light. As he moved farther into Allen's consciousness, he started to see and feel some of the things his host was seeing and feeling.

Currently, Allen was sitting beside a pretty green haired girl. They were silent and Nea felt extremely akward. It was apparent that his host had a huge crush on this girl. After another couple of minutes the girl turned to him.

"Allen why did you run away?"

"I didn't want to run, but I had to. So much happened. Apocryphos was chasing me. Tyki practically kidnapped me, and I couldn't protect my friends while I was stuck in a dungeon under the order."

"I missed you."

Nea felt himself blush as Allen's emotions flooded over him. Nea buried his face in his hands.

Damn, he thought to himself. Is this going to happen all the time!

"Lenalee, I really want to thank you for being my friend."

No you idiot! Nea yelled. You just completely friend zoned the poor girl!

"Thank you for being my friend."

You stupid idiot! That's not how you go about when trying to get a girl. Now she just friend zoned you too.

Another awkward silence lasted for several minutes. Nea wanted to smack the boy.

"It's starting to get late. I'm going to go check on Kanda and then go to bed." Lenalee got up and left and Allen face palmed.

"Well that could have gone better. I meant to tell her that she was more than just a friend."

Nea was glad that the boy at least had some sense. A few minutes later, Allen got up. Nea watched as he walked to the next room over. In it, the long haired swordsman lay in one bed while the little red head lay in another. They were both hooked up to several machines. Jonney sat fast asleep in a chair next to Rin's bed. After a long talk with chief Komui, General Tiedoll was back and sitting next to Kanda.

Allen claimed an empty chair and watched his friends sleep. Soon he was also asleep and Nea was no longer plagued by his hosts thought and emotions. After watching through Allen's eyes as he interacted with others was strange for Nea. Yes this body belonged to him, but it had formed an entirely different conscience. Allen Walker was actually a real person. If Nea took over this body completely, he would have killed someone.

The Allen Walker had hopes and dreams that would be left unaccomplished. There would be people who would be sad because their friend died.

Nea questioned why he cared about Allen. The only person he had ever cared for was Mana. Why were these strange thought consuming his mind and making him feel guilty. He shouldn't care, but he did.
