Eventually, we all must die.
Remember me as you will,
For what you thought I was
Is no match for what I really was.
I was brave. Beyond compare.
I was beautiful. Not that I knew it at the time.
I was interesting. Though I was always dull and empty.
I had friends. Though I always felt so cold and lonely.
So when you remember me, think not of how I died. But of how strong I was In my final days.
Will the world keep spinning?
Will you dream of me?
Will your hope fade?
Will life go on?
Will you join me?
I hope not.
You should hold on. Pain ends.
Eventually.
Eventually, we all must die.
When you remember me, what will you think?
Did I fight a great battle?
How did I defeat the enemy?
In your eyes, what is my life?
In my eyes, it's tragic.
In your eyes are tears.
In my eyes were fears.
Will you walk out of the prison that held us?
Will you collapse onto the floor?
Will you scream put my name?
Will you lock your door?
Will you pick yourself up?
Will you give yourself a moment?
Will you be confused?
Will you be in shock?
Will you be brave?
But by nightfall your mind will be swarming with demons.
So carry on without me.
Eventually, all will fade.
Eventually all men must die.
Eventually you will be happy again.
So hope.
Hope.
Hold on pain ends.
Eventually.
