a/n hey kids guess who's back!! yea i was in piano practice and got bored. this is going to be a short story or maybe longer, idk, depends on how inspired i am to write. hope you guys enjoy this story concept! Ive added some bts piano music by smyang (my man, jk he isnt) so your whalecome! 🐋

Author POV

His nimble fingers played across the glossy keys as different notes resonated from the percussion instrument. Each key he plays brings forth another beautiful tune that can make a emotionless man turn emotional. Every chord he played was skillful, the audience around him stared in awe as the child prodigy skillfully played the piano. Sadly, the song ended and the theatre was dead silent, everyone too shocked at how beautiful the piece was. Soon claps, whistles, and mainly sobs resonated throughout the theatre. Among the audience was a group of friends, each cheekily smiling. One was smiling fondly at the pianist, one was sobbing horrendously screaming "that's my child! Slay these hoes!" Another was jumping up and down screaming the pianist name, and another was...well, he was just asleep.

The pianist looked upon the crowd and saw the group of friends. He showed a small smile, a little of his bunny teeth showed.

"Give it up for this amazing prodigy, Jeon Jungkook!"

The theatre rumbled as the audience began to scream "Jeon Jungkook." Some commenting how he was amazing, some asking for another song, and some still full on crying.

However, amongst the audience was a gray haired boy who stared in awe.

The boy was shaken out of shock by his best friend

"Hey Tae, did you see that?! This prodigy, Jeon Jungkook, he seems very talented. You should ask him to give you lessons!"

The said chubby cheek boy grinned widely, making his eyes turn into crescents.

"I know that you've always wanted to be a pianist as a kid so now's your chance! Hurry Tae! Ask him before he leaves!"

The gray haired male began to stand up.

"Thanks Jimin, wish me luck!"

Kim Taehyung, a wannabe pianist since the age of three after seeing a live orchestra for the first time.

His parents encouraged his dream and set up lessons for him at the age of five.

However, he was not a child prodigy.

No matter how hard he practiced and learned the theories, he never perfected and played any of the music beautifully.

Currently, Taehyung is a 20 year old college student. He was on the verge of giving up and had doubts of his dream. Although, this prodigy, Jeon Jungkook, was his last hope to fulfill his dreams.
