"Bye you guys.." I said with disappointment. My friends hugged me tightly and said their goodbyes. I hear my dad calling my name. I got in the car and my dad looked at me. "Don't worry Cora you'll make new friends." My dad said to me. "Ok.." my dad started to drive.
We arrived at our new home
"So, Cora? What do you think?" My dad asked. "It's okay.." I said looking at the ground. We started to bring our stuff inside the house and unpacked. After everything was unpacked my dad told me to go around the neighbor and he gave me $20 bucks.
I started to walk around looking for a good place to eat. I found a Mc Donald's nearby and decided to eat there. I ordered my food and went to sit down at a table.
Two people came up to me. One boy and one girl. "Hey! I haven't seen you around here before. Are you new here?" the boy asked. "Yeah." I said "I just moved here today.." The girl began to speak. "Welcome to the neighbor hood! My name is Heidi and my friend over here is Tom. What is your name?"
