Baras pov.

'I cant let myself be controlled. Dont let him win.' I told myself over and over again. 'kill them all.... You know you want to.... do it!' Chibitsuru whimpered at my shoulder sensing my internal struggle for control. I heard the sound of foot steps behind me. "who's there?!" I turned to see sasuke. My expression softened. "it's just you. ill be there in a second." I leaned against chibitsuru staring at the scenery of the sunset from the cliff I was sitting on. heard sasuke sit down next to me. I turned to look at him from the corner of my eye. The sun illuminated his features making his soft hair glisten. I turned away blushing when he noticed me staring. He smiled. I stared back at the sun.

Sasukes pov.

She stared back at the sun. I did the same. we sat there for a while until she broke the silence. "the look of fear in that child's eyes... It reminded me of myself... I don't know why... it makes me wonder even more... who am I? When I try to remember all I see is blood. so much blood." she shivered. "it scares me..." I wrapped my arms around her wanting to comfort her. 'this is all I can do.... I feel do useless' she blushed at first but then leaned into me.
