Alex woke up first. Their bodies still bare and tangled together. He slowly moved his legs from between hers. She groaned at the loss of contact. He chuckled lightly before moving back closer to her. She sighed and cuddled into him as his fingertips moved down her spine.
"Stop. It tickles." She mumbled against his skin. He kissed the top of her head carefully. Her arms moved to wrap around his midsection, her head resting against his chest listening to his strong steady heartbeat.
"Love you should wake up." He said softly. She shook her head with a grumble. "Pez." His lips moved down her cheek. His hand slipped between them his fingertips moving down her stomach. She pushed him off of her while grumbling.
"Fine I'm up." She glared at him. He chuckled lightly and connected their lips. A small smile arose on her face. "Now why are we up so early?"
"It's not that early Pez." He said gently. She nuzzled her nose back into his chest. "But I know you love food and there's a small market down the street that sells the best stuff for breakfast."
"As long as you promise the food is good." He chuckled lightly before kissing the top of her head.
"I wouldn't lie Pez." She smiled before nodding. He slipped out of bed throwing a pair of boxers on. When he turned she sat up the sheets covering her body. He smiled before handing her one of his shirts. She slipped it over her head.
"I hope you know I'm keeping this." Alex nodded before leaning closer to her. Perrie greedily connected their lips. His hand moved to her hip bringing her closer. "Don't try to distract me. I need food." He chuckled and kissed her cheek.
They both got dressed and did their morning routine. He grabbed a room key, his wallet and both of their phones before taking her hand, she giggled as he shut the door.
"Well I guess I'm ready." He kissed the top of her head as they entered the elevator.
"You were ready the second you woke up love. I just wouldn't be able to handle letting someone else see you like that." He said smoothly. She was about to answer back when the elevator dinged. They both pulled their hats down. Alex gently pulled her into him as she hid her face in his shoulder.
Perrie stood on the tips of her toes before her lips met his cheek. She smiled at the light red that flashed over his cheeks. Their fingers interlaced. He squeezed her hand gently as the elevator finally stopped in the lobby.
He guided her effortlessly to the nearby market.
"You know your way around here?" He nodded and kissed her temple.
"Paris has always been my escape. My mum would take me here when I was little so we could escape. She would bring me here every morning for breakfast." Perrie watched him as the smile grew on his face. "Then we would go to Disney or a museum. I learned French along the way."
He gently pulled her closer his hand now resting along her lower back. She smiled her arm moving to wrap around his hips.
"You and your mum are close?" He nodded.
"She never wanted this life. Never wanted to be queen. I never wanted it either. We both are stuck though so we make the best of it. She gets away from it just like I do." Perrie nodded her lips meeting his shoulder. Her stomach growled as she smelled the food. "Let's get something to eat love." He said softly.
"Thank you." She said with a smile. He chuckled lightly before kissing the top of her head. They went up to a small crêpe stand. Alex effortlessly ordered for the both of them as Perrie was stuck watching in awe, she understood nothing but it was still hot.
They got their food and he guided her to an overlook next to the river. This time she pulled hand and guided him to a bench. He chuckled lightly as she sat down. His arm wound around her as she leaned against him. They ate in silence watching the world around them.
"Thank you for bringing me with you." She said quietly. He turned and kissed the top of her head.
"There's not anyone else that I would bring here. You're the only one love." She turned connecting their lips. He smiled into the kiss his hand moving to her cheek. They heard a camera flash before he mumbled against her lips. "Fuck them." She started to laugh before pulling away.
"You realize it wasn't someone taking a picture of us." She said before hiding her face in his shoulder as she started to laugh.
"I don't care if they were or were not. I love you and I don't care who knows." He said quietly. She looked up at him quickly connecting their lips.
"I love you too baba." She stated against his lips. When a duck flew over their heads She flinched while he laughed.
"What the hells wrong with you. You couldn't fly a little higher Jack." He said before grabbing a package of crackers from his pocket offering one to the duck. Perrie watched him confused. "I saved him when he was a baby. Let him go on this day and every year he comes back here. Sometimes he's early other times he's right on time. Perrie this is Jack." He said while handing her a cracker.
She leaned down offering it to the bird.
"I knew there was a reason you brought me here."
