I woke up with the sound of beeping and people chattering around me..'Am I back?' I asked myself
"Yah sweety...your back..it's dad can you hear me?" the familiar voice asked
"uhm...yah..where's everyone else?" I asked trying to open my eyes but it wouldn't follow
"There waiting patiently outside your room" daddy replied with a calm voice "now" -he continued- "you were sleep talking whenwhen you were in a coma..care to explain why?" he asked...silence filled room...I tried opening my eyes again but it didn't work I was surrounded by darkness
"Whaa-why can't I open my eyes daddy?" I asked as innocently as I could searching for his hand...after a couple of seconds I hear him shuffle and placed his hand in mine..there it was again...silence enveloping us
"Sally sweety....I'm afraid you won't be able to use your eyes for weeks because of the incident..apparently you had a head trauma from it.." he replied sweetly caressing my hand "Do you want me to call everybody in?"
"I just want Ben..can I talk to Ben?" I asked as his hands left mine and I hear his foot steps walking away from me and the door opening....I felt Ben getting close to me his body warmth radiating from him
"Sally you want to talk to me?" he's voice was tiny
I nodded in response "daddy can you please go..I can still feel that you're here..I still have my other senses!! soo shoo! go away!"
"Fine...I'll be back in a couple of minutes to check on you...so don't get to comfortable" and with that he left the room shutting the door closed and mumbling something to himself
