She snapped out of her trance when children ran right through her. Looking around once more, she realized that no one could see her. And then she made eye contact with a girl upstairs and suddenly a headache hit her and made her legs weak.
She closed her eyes shut, waiting for the pain in her head to go away. And when it did go away, she opened her eyes and noticed everyone was gone and it was dark again.
Looking back at where she saw the girl upstairs, she suddenly felt drawn to go up the said stairs.
And when she did, the house slowly turned brighter with each step until she stopped in front of a door. She was having a flickering glimpse of what the room used to be. A baby's nursery.
This repeated again for the other rooms she checked. And surprisingly, instead of freaking out about the paranormal activity, she grew more curious. The lives of the family made her want to know more about what happened to them.
