CHAPTER 1

FLORIDA, UNITED STATES— A group of military in USA is checking out the areas in Orlando after they received complaints from the residents. They stated that they heard strange sounds from the area. The residents believe they were just wolves or dogs that were growling in the woods. Some believe it was the creature called Flakker who made the strange sounds.

     The Commissioner of Orlando stated that there was nothing to be worry about.

     “There are no such things as Zombies or Flakkers. Please refrain speculating or spread false rumours that may alarm the residents of Orlando. Anyone who does so will be arrested and interrogated.” He continues.

MEADOW WOODS, FLORIDA.

     Five hours before dawn, a group of soldiers is checking out the woods. They found nothing strange. The commander starts to talk.

  “Al-G,Jul-C,Al-1, there is nothing weird about this forest. We will leave this place after an hour. Make sure to check all the areas.”

 “Roger.” the soldiers replied

      Everything is perfectly fine except for one thing. There are no sounds being made by the animals. Not even a single growl. The commander stops and starts to notice that strange thing. He turns his head to his men while speaking to them.

“Soldiers, do you—” he stops because he notices no one is walking behind him. The commander yells for their names.

“Al-G!! Jul-C!! Al-1!!!” It was a mistake for him to yell in the dark woods 4 hours before the dawn because the creatures may hear him.

      

      He hears strange growling sounds and he feels like a creature is coming after him. He shoots everything around him and runs as fast as he could.

      While he is escaping the woods, he sees a flashlight. He thinks that is one of his crew. The commander runs to the light. He is right. It is the soldier but he is dead. He starts to freak out and shoots everything again. Unfortunately, he makes the creature chase after him again. Then a strange-looking creature who looks like a zombie reveals himself in front of the commander. He shoots the creature. The commander realizes the creature is undead and cannot be killed. While the creature is chasing after him, he grabs the knife in his pocket. That is the only thing he can do.

         Once the undead grabs the soldier’s neck, the soldier knows it is the perfect time for him to fight back. He takes his knife and cut off the creature's neck. Now he knows the undead’s weakness, it was its neck. The soldier becomes exhausted but he needs to keep going. He brings his crew to the end of the woods. Suddenly, the crew’s hands are shivering. The soldier ignores it as he keeps walking. Suddenly, his crew moans. The soldier looks at his crew. His crew turned to the undead. He throws his man and tries to run even though he is exhausted. Suddenly, the soldier falls down and accidentally stabbed his right leg. He screams. “FUCK!! MY LEG!”. The commander desperately tries to stand up. The creature disappears. He keeps walking and suddenly feels like blood is draining to his feet. He realizes that his crew stabbed him into his belly. He could not move or even think. The commander slowly dies in the middle of the woods.
