Why Twilight is Bogus Compared to Harry Potter

Reasons.

1. Nobody sparkles. I mean, come on. Cheesy much. "So, old Eddie glitters does he? No wonder I go blind when I look at him." Said by a wise woman/me.

2. Lets just admit it; Stephanie Meyer chose a great author to copy off of. Harry Potter came out in the early 2000's right? And Twilight came out after? Well, then J.K. Rowling definitely didn't copy of Meyer for Sirius BLACK. CHARLIE Weasley. BELLA Lestrange.

3. Alright, story time. Meyer and Rowling are at the same convention. Meyer is getting interviewed. She is asked why she writes: 'The God of writing sent me to write great books.' Rowling turns around and says, confused: 'I didn't send anyone.' 

5. In Harry Potter #4, The Goblet Of Fire,  Voldemort beat Edward Cullen, then Harry beat Voldemort. Simple math people. Edward-> Voldemort -> Harry.  Did you ever pass grade two Ms Meyer?

6. Stephanie Meyer said that she came up with Twilight through a dream. 'It does not do to dwell on dreams and forget to live.' Dumbledore has spoken.

7. Harry Potter's worst selling book outsold Twilight's bestselling book easily. And you might say: sales do not demonstrate quality. Here is my answer, Potterheads actually liked the books enough to BUY them.

8. Harry Potter fans are not vain; we do not base our books on how hot the vampires and werewolves are.

9. Hermione Ginny and Luna are great role models and idols for young women, whereas Bella falls apart after losing Edward and only gets back to normal after meeting Jacob. 

10. Harry Potter promotes courage, true love of family and friends, loyalty and dignity. Unlike Twilight, which promotes pedophilia, teenage pregnancy, early marriage, and suicidal thoughts after rejection. 

11. While reading Harry Potter one can go 'Oh, that is why it is called Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire', and while reading Twilight, one would go 'So why the hell is it called TWILIGHT?'

12. In HP the fight scenes are quite obvious to the reader, and they make complete and total sense. Then you look at Twilight, where the fight scenes are described as dancing, and end in a handshake. 

13. Every word in Harry Potter affected the whole series, where as Stephanie Meyer likes to waste paper by describing Edward's beauty. There are a total of 165 references to it in Twilight alone. 

14. Harry Potter characters are easy to relate to. All Bella cares about is having a boyfriend. 

15. Harry, Ron, and Hermione matured as the series progressed. Bella just became more childish.

16. Harry Potter can teach us life lessons: Be loyal to your side of the battle, good triumph over evil, etc. What can Twilight teach us? Kill yourself if you lose your boyfriend. 

17. Hermione sacrificed herself for the people she loved, whereas Bella just hid behind Edward.

18. Harry is not a stalker, he never watched Ginny in her sleep. Edward is another story.

19. Twilight teaches kids that abusiveness is "selflessness." I, being a girl, find that right offensive. 

20. Meyer's werewolves are wimps. Fenrir Greyback? He's a man eater. 

21. The characters are not one dimensional. There are all sides to them. 'The world is not split between good people and death eaters, there is good and bad in all of us' Sirius was serious. 

22. Harry potter encourages us to do what what is right. Alas, I cannot say the same for Twilight, it teaches us to do what is easy. I could easily leave it at that, yet I am going to continue to humiliate "Twihard's"  

23. It took seven books to completely understand the Harry-Voldemort relationship, whereas is took seven pages to guess the ending of Twilight.

24. Harry was willing to lay down his life for the people he loved, he would die gladly if it meant others would be safe. If Bella had to do that, she would probably go complain to Edward about it.

25. Each book is named by that action that consists within its pages, like a clue to the outcome. I am still looking for the word "Twilight" in Twilight.
