The flight to his doom was excruciatingly long, Jonathan couldn't stop fidgeting in his seat on the plane. The man next to him was giving him worried looks but Jonathan only smiled back awkwardly.

Finally, he arrived to LA in the evening, sighing out loud as he got off the plane. It was so hot here. He took off his sweatshirt and tied it to his hips with the sleeves, taking out the Uber app.

He knew where Evan lived, having sent Christmas gifts back and forth. The Uber driver was nice enough.

"So what brings you to LA?"

"Coming face to face with my best online friend who has also been flirting with me these past few months."

"Ooooh. Hope that turns out well."

"It's probably won't, but thank you."

Jonathan grinned, seeing the nice neighbourhood.

Time to die in it. He walked up to the porch step and knocked.

Evan opened the door in a long moment.

Jonathan smiled, admiring the other's features face to face for the first time. His raven hair in their natural state, slightly curly; the curious chocolate brown eyes, the slightly round profile that made him look adorable. He was wearing one of his dumb cat shirts.

"It's time to stop. Quote Filthy Frank."

Evan's eyes widened, indicating he recognised the voice.

"D....Delirious?"

"Hey."

"Oh my god."

"Yeah, I finally got the courage to show up at your front door. After all of this shit. Which is dumb. So I want to see eye to eye on this, pun intended."

Evan just stood there, dumbfounded. Jonathan rolled his eyes. "Yes, I'm beautiful, get over it quickly please."

"You're more than that."

Jonathan shut his mouth filled with sass for a moment to look at the other quizzically.

"Fucking gorgeous," Evan mumbled but Jonathan caught it as now it was his turn to be flustered.

"Holy fucking shit," Evan moved so fast that Jonathan couldn't draw back before he was enveloped in two strong arms. "Holy fucking fuck," Evan kept mumbling profanities to himself, all muffled into Jonathan's shoulder. As heartwarming as this hug was Jonathan was still ticked, fidgeting to get free.

Evan recoiled, gazing into the other's eyes, and Jonathan finally noticed that he had been crying. "Del, I'm...I'm so fucking sorry, I was so frustrated with this and then when you texted me I was so ecstatic I couldn't help myself I didn't mean for any of this to be in a joking manner I just-"

Jonathan covered the other's rambling mouth. "Shut the fuck up."

Evan sighed against his hand, indicating that he was okay. Jonathan smiled slightly, retracting his hand but was stopped halfway by Evan grabbing it.

"Oh dear lord..." Evan gawked at the rose tattoo. His hands felt so warm against Jonathan's slightly chilly ones from being outside. He could feel himself blushing.

Evan's eyes darted to his face again. He blinked, then smirked at Jonathan's red face. "Delirious."

"W-what?" And he was stuttering, perfect.

"You make my stomach all Raleigh-poly."

Jonathan blinked. "This is the exact fucking reason I came here!" All of his feistiness was back as he threw his hand away from Evan's grasp. "To stop with this fucking flirting pickup lines cute text shit! If you're not serious with any of it then fucking quit it!"
