Today is my first day of school. I forgot the name but Leidis told me Cairo would he going there so I wouldn't be completely  alone. She also said he had to take me to school and after school I could get a car. Im grateful for everything she was doing for me. She didn't have to.

"How should I dress Lei?" I asked Leidis add she peeked in my room

"Casual but cute. No need to go all out." She said smiling

So I did just that. Yesterday Leidis got me some new shoes, clothes, and some make up. I knew how to use make up but I rarely wore it. I decided to go with darker colors. I also let Leidis do my hair last night. I don't really know any cute up to date styles.

"Are you ready? Cairo it's out side." A'Miri said walking in

His face screwed up once he saw my shirt. It was a olive green crop top.

"The fuck?!" A'Miri said

"You don't like it?" I asked looking down

"No throw it away." He said shaking his head and folding his arms

"She doesn't have time for that. And it's cute." Leidis said smiling and feeding Syrus

I nodded and grabbed my bag and rushed out the door.

Cairo was waiting in his car on his phone. He decided to dress casual too I guess.

"Hey

"Hey." I said

"Wassup." He said without looking at me

I put my seatbelt on and waited for him to pull off. It took a while, whatever he was doing on his phone must be important.

When he finally pulled off he turned some music on and bobbed his head when a song he knew came on.

We finally got to the school and I hopped out without saying a word. He didn't seem to care. I walked to the office and asked a lady for my schedule. Once she gave it to me I walked in the direction that had classroom numbers closer to the one I was looking for.

I made it to class and 5 people were already in there. The teacher was looking at his computer so I walked over to her desk.

"Do we have assigned seats in this class? I'm new here." I explained

"Yes, I put you next to Carlos." The teacher said pointing to a empty chair
