Hanamaru's POV:

Hello my name is Hanamaru Kunikida and starting today I'm a High School student at Uranohoshi Girls' High! I'm really excited to begin my new school life, assuming I can actually do anything this time. In middle school I kind of lacked presence. People would often forget I was even there. Except for one person, my best friend Ruby. I'm not really sure what I can do to put myself out there but I'm sure I can find something!

"Hanamaru-chan hurry up or we'll be late!" yelled Ruby.

"I'm coming zura!" I reply running towards her.

We just barely make it to the assembly on time. A few more seconds and we would've started off the year on a bad note.

About ten minutes into the assembly we hear the doors burst open. A girl walks in wearing black robes, she has long, blue hair in a bun and pink eyes. Come to think of it, she seems kind of familiar.

"I am the Fallen Angel Yohane and I am here to make all of you my little demons!"

"Yoshiko-chan?" I say getting up and looking at her.

"Zuramaru?!" she says seeming shocked.

"Alright you sit and you come with me!" Dia says pointing at me before grabbing Yoshiko and dragging her out of the room.

The rest of the assembly went by and nothing else happened. Dia came back but Yoshiko never did.

Ruby and I walk out of the gymnasium. "I'm sorry about sis scolding you back there Hanamaru-chan."

"It's fine, I wonder what happened to Yoshiko-chan Zura."

"Yoshiko-chan?"

"Yeah I knew her back in kindergarten, she was pretty much the only friend I had that year Zura."

"Oh that's awesome you finally get to see her again! Let's see if she's still here."

We walk around for awhile with no sign of Yoshiko, I guess she already left. "Why if it isn't my oldest little demon Zuramaru." a voice says from behind.

"Yoshiko-chan!" I say running up to her.

"It's Yohane!"

"You're still doing that Zura?"

"Shut up!"

"So what happened after you got dragged out of the assembly?"

"The mean lady yelled at me and told me if I did anything like that again I would have detention."

"Yeah Sis can be a bit strict sometimes." Ruby says.

"Sis?!" Yoshiko exclaims.

"She's my big sister."

"Oh yeah, I should introduce you two Zura. Yoshiko-chan-"

"It's Yohane!" Yoshiko interrupts.

"Fine. Ruby-chan this is 'Yohane-chan' zura."

"I declare you little demon number 4!" Yoshiko yells pointing at Ruby.

"Pigi!" Ruby shrieks jumping back and falling over.

"Are you okay Ruby-chan?" I say leaning down to help her up.

"Hmph, you should consider yourself lucky. Not just anyone gets to serve under the Fallen Angel Yohane!"

"Stop it Zura." I say thumping her in the back of the head.

We hear someone in the distance. "What's with all the commotion?"

"Crap! It's the mean lady!" Yoshiko yells running away.

"Ruby did you see who was making all the noise?" Dia asks.

"No, I didn't here anything."

"Hm, I know I heard something. Must've been some hooligans outside." Dia says walking away.

"That was close Zura."

After that nothing much happened that day. We went home eager to begin class the next day. I hope they'll let me spend lots of time in the library; that's my favorite place to go when I'm not in class.

*the next day*

"Hey Ruby-Chan!" I say running to catch up to her.

"Hey Hanamaru-Chan, let's walk to school together."

"What club did you join Ruby-chan?"

"I haven't joined one yet, what about you?"

"I'm still not sure which one I wanna join zura."

"We can't just go all through our first year without joining a club though."

"But I don't know which one I should join Zura."

"I'm not really sure about that either, I don't really know anyone in any of the clubs so I'm a bit scared of being alone in a club with nobody I know."

We got to school and talked to some people before class started, hopefully I can become friends with them. I guess it's finally time to start my High School education, I'm so excited!

*after classes*

"That was so long Zura." I say.

"It's only the first day Hanamaru-chan." Ruby replies.

"Yoshiko-chan wasn't even here today. So I had to sit all alone zura."

"Yeah it sucks we have to sit on opposite sides of the room in class."

"It's so lonely in the back Zura."

"I've gotta go home Hanamaru-chan. My mom wants me to do some stuff around the house."

"Alright, I'm gonna go to the library Zura."

I head to the library and start reading for awhile when one of the staff members walks in and grabs a large stack of books.

"Do you need help with that Zura?" I ask.

"Yeah, I have to take these down to the storage room and these have to go to the literature club room. Would you mind taking them there?" she says showing me a stack of about 5 books.

"Of course Zura."

I grab my bag and put it on since I was about to leave anyway and begin walking towards the literature club with the stack of books. I was only about half way there when a girl flies through the window, knocking me over and landing on me. I dropped the books and both our bags went flying, resulting in our stuff flying everywhere.

"Oh crap I'm so sorry are you okay?!" she asks helping me up.

"Yeah I'm fine Zura."

"Zura?" she questions.

I quickly cover my mouth out of embarrassment and stay quiet. We both grab all our stuff and I take all the books to the literature club. I guess there's nothing else for me to do here.

Once I got home I opened up my bag to get my homework when a letter falls out. "How did this get in here?" I ask myself. I guess the only way to find out is to read it.
