"I choose Harley" I proclaimed. Though I have just met him, I feel a very strong connection between the two of us. Haiden's eyes turned pitch black as he loudly growled in pain. He stalked towards me but Charlie went in the way.

"Don't go near her mutt" Charlie spat it out. Haiden's eye twitched as he began to crouch onto the ground and shift. Fur sprouted out of his skin while his eyes were still pitch black, no white to be seen even just a tinge.

"Ellaire, darling please don't leave me"
I turned my head away from him as tears began to pool into my eyes and a tingling sensation in my nose began to erupt.

"I'm sorry Haiden but . . . you've got Patricia now" I sadly told him. He growled louder.

"Baby, I'm not with her. . ." I quickly formed a boundary around my mind.

I looked away from him. "You heard her. Get away from Ellaire" Harley said while Haiden or maybe Hyde growled, preparing to pounce on Harley but Charlie held him down.

"You may be a mutt, but if Ellaire chose you then. . . I must comply with her wishes" Charlie said and gave me a small smile. I gave him a smile back.

"I really am sorry Haiden" I gave him a sad smile before tears began to drop onto my cheeks.

Haiden shifted back to normal and yanked on a pair of cargo shorts.

"I am not letting you take Ellaire from me!" He said, shaking with fury before pushing Charlie to a tree and enveloped me in his arms.

"I am never letting you go" He whispered before he hoisted me over his shoulder. I let out a loud shriek while Harley stomped over to us.

"Let go of her" Harley angrily said through gritted teeth. Haiden quickly dashed off to the right, taking Harley by surprise. The cool wind blew against my hair while my shirt began to rise up.

   "My shirt!!" I yelled.

"That is not yours. That shirt is the leech's" He said. I heard footsteps behind us,  knowing it would We other be Charlie or Harley.

"Harley! Charlie!" I screamed. Haiden took me off his shoulder before ripping a piece of his shorts and tied it around my mouth. He placed me back over his shoulder and began to ran in the same direction.

The footsteps neared us as I screamed loudly but it was muffled by the cloth that Haiden tied around my mouth.

"We're coming Ellaire!" I heard Charlie yell. Haiden took an abrupt stop as I gave out a small gasp in surprise.

Wolves once again began to surround us while Haiden growled at them.

"Boys, settle down" I heard Harley's voice say from behind us. Charlie was along his side, which was a bit taller than him but nevertheless, Harley was still tall.

"Haiden, you have to calm down" I soothingly told him.

"Please Ellaire, don't leave me" He begged. I was taken off his shoulder before swiftly taken into his arms as he buried his face into my shoulder. Though, I cannot blame him. I am his soulmate and we are supposedly destined to be.

I felt tears drop onto the shirt I'm wearing. Haiden's tears. He was crying for me. I began to run my fingers through his ebony lock, shushing into his ear.

"I won't leave you, okay?" I told him, taking his tear-stained face into my hands before a smile lit up his face before nodding his head.

"But that doesn't mean I will be leaving Harley" I said. I heard two footsteps near us.

"We'll try and work things out, see how it goes, okay?" I asked. Haiden and Harley growled but agreed afterwards.

"We should put this behind us and go back to the Pack House okay?" I asked before venturing off back into the woods, with the three of them trailing behind me.

"Why did fate have to be so cruel?"
