The girl who hides in the shadows

~I Notice~

She walks alone, alone at night, where the streets are narrow and sparse in light.
She reads books, books far from typical immortality where she escapes the lies of life and pain of reality.
She looks so shy, shy and frightful not even once have I seen that face smile.
She wears long sleeves and respectful skirts, she's not like those trashy looking flirts.
She runs away, away from crowds full of stupidity and ignorance to protect herself and her innocence.
She eats in the toilet because she doesn't like rudeness as they sit there eating with such crudeness.
There she eats so little, yet she looks like she eats quite a lot. I guess she wants to let her insides rot.
She's invisible, invisible to the world, invisible to society.
She locks her doors tight with a key called anxiety.
But oh well, that's all just in her head she'll try to forget about it, until it attacks her in bed.
And when it does, she will write with a pen and draw with a pencil lost in deep thought thinking about her life, her potential.
She will write a story about wrong and right where worries are gone and her dreams take flight.
She'll flee from the world of paper and ink, lost in a space of desire I think?
She'll go straight for the knife hoping to end this burden with her own sacrifice.
But instead she'll dangle by neck who knows how many lives she'll wreck.
She shall not care about what others say after all she'll be dead come morning day.
Hanging from above, below, a toppled chair, is an example of a bully's worst fear.
Hidden in the shadows behind some fake tan is a girl, that no one sees, yet I can.
I notice you.
