Onew's Birthday Special

Here's the birthday special for Onew that's really late. 

Onew's POV

I woke up to a cold bed. I could smell food cooking from the kitchen. I quickly got up and went downstairs. Y/N was working hard in the kitchen to make me a delicious breakfast. I wrapped my arms around her waist resting my head on her shoulder. "Good morning," I greeted.

"Good morning! And Happy Birthday!" She stated excitedly turning around to give me a hug and kiss.

"Why are you in such a good mood?" I asked

"Cause it's your birthday. Why wouldn't I be in a good mood?" She questioned. "There's a lot planned today so get ready after breakfast. So for now sit down," she commanded. I sat down and waited. Five minutes later she came in and placed a plate of bacon, eggs, chicken, and waffles with some milk. "You want anything else I'll make it for you," She stated heading back into the kitchen.

"Y/N! Come here!" I called out.

"Yes, is everything okay?" She asked

"No," I told her.

"What's wrong? Does it taste bad?" She asked.

"No," I answered

"Then what's wrong?" She questioned

"I would like to eat breakfast with you and not by myself," I pouted. She sat down next to me and smiled. I smiled back and took a bite.

"Good?" She asked. I nodded happily.

"What are the plans for today?" I questioned.

"It's a surprise!" She exclaimed smiling widely.

"Can you tell me anything about it so I can dress appropriately?" I asked

"Umm... dress casually but still look nice. I'll make sure your dress correctly before we leave," she stated. I nodded and continued to eat, feeding her pieces as I did. I finished eating and got dressed. She approved of the second outfit which was a leather jacket, black pants with ripped pants underneath.

She decided that she wanted to match with me so she put on a leather jacket as well.

"Ready?" She asked.

"Yeah," I answered. We got in the car. She handed me a blindfold.

"What is this for?" I asked.

"To cover your eyes, duh," she stated.

"Well obviously, but why am I covering my eyes?" I questioned.

"Why else? It's a surprise silly," She stated turning on the car. It was pitch black and that's what she wanted. "Are you enjoying your birthday?" She asked

"So far it' been good but I wish you would tell me the schedule for today," I told her.

"If I tell you it will ruin everything. Do you want me to ruin everything?" She asked

"No, it seems like you're putting a lot of effort into my birthday so thank you," I thanked her.

"Anything for you," She stated holding my hand and giving it a squeeze. I squeezed it back. "How does it feel to be 28?" She questioned

"Same as 27," I answered.

"Nothing new? But Your almost 30?" She asked.

"I know I'm an old grandpa," I joked. She laughed as the car came to a stop.

"We're here!" She exclaimed "don't take the blindfold off yet," she commanded getting out. She opens my door and helped me out. She guided as we walked to prevent me from waking into something which was honestly kind of scary. "Okay, take off the blindfold," she commanded. I took it off and everyone screamed a "surprise!" I looked around and SHINee with their girlfriends or wife, our managers, some of my good friends and Y/N's best friends. It wasn't a huge party but that's how I like things. I looked around and there was a table full of food and drinks. I walked over to it and looked at the nice assortment taking at least one bite from everything. "Onew! Get away from the food!" Y/N scolded pulling me away.

"But it's my birthday," I whined.

"You can get back to the food later. We have a ton of stuff planned," she stated. Y/N went to the make and made an announcement. "Hello everybody! We're going to play some laser tag. The game divides up into four teams and there's *quickly counts number of people*. Who doesn't want to play?" She asked I Lot of people raised their hands leaving us with 12 players (including me and her) Y/N lead us to the game room.

"The we have a couple rules. Rule one: Be careful of where you walk since you do have some small children in your party so try not to knock them over. Also, when your shot your vest will vibrate and you will not be able to shoot during that time. How many people you shoot will be counted as well as how many times you are shot. You have four teams so you may divide yourself up how you would like too," She ended. I was one the blue team with Y/N and a toddler since each team had to have one of the four children. Jonghyun and Key were on the red team. Minho and Taemin on the green team. And then one of my friends and one of Y/N 's friend on the yellow team. All with one child. We each went to a different entrance point.

"Are you ready," Y/N asked the small girl

"Yes!" She answered excitedly.

"Do you know how to shot?" Y/N asked her.

"Um like this," She pointed the gun towards me and i pretended to be shot.

"Good job! Get ready. Fighting!" Y/N stated as the countered finished and the game stated. We entered the game and immediately shot at the first person I saw, Minho got extremely mad after he was killed by me. Me and Y/N worked well together helping the young child shot other people. The game ended and we all walked to see the end results. My team one by one kill against Minho's. After Minho's team was the yellow team then the red team. We went back to the reserved room for my party and hanged out for a little bit. Minho, Key, Jonghyun, and Taemin left early to help me prepare a surprise for Y/N. The party ended and we stayed to help clean up. Around that time, they returned telling me everything was set up.

Y/N's POV

We left to go back to the house but Onew turned down a different street heading towards the opposite direction of our house. "Where are, we going?" I asked.

"It's a surprise," He quickly answered a small smile forming on his face.

"Why are you giving me a surprise on your birthday?" I questioned

"Because... I don't want to wait any longer for the surprise," He explained. i we continued to drive the scenery begins to look familiar. Onew grabbed a blindfold from the glove compartment. "Put it on" He commanded

"Why?" I questioned.

"'Why'? Isn't the answer obvious? It's it a surprise," He answered placing the blind fold in my hand. We drove around a little more than he finally stopped the car. I heard him get out the car then come to my side and let me out. Guided me to the mystery place and then let go of my hands. "Okay, you can take off you blindfold but don't open you eyes yet," He commanded.  I covered my eyes with my hands as I waited. "Okay, you can look now," He stated. I uncovered my eyes and looked around. We were at the park where we first meet. It was beautifully lit with white lights and a rows of roses. I looked at Onew who was already on one knee.

I feel tears swell up in my eyes. "No way," I stated before he could start. Covering my moth with my hand. 

 "Y/F/N, I will love you till the day I day. I want you by my side forever and always. You give me strength in life helping me move forward. Will you marry me?" He asked

"Yes! Of course!" I answered happily. he gave me the ring and pulled me into a tight hug with a sweet kiss. He smiled widely as SHINee came out singing a song to congratulate us jumping around popping bottles of champagne and throwing confetti. 

"I love you Y/N" He stated

"I love you to Jinki" I responded
