Chapter Eight

Two deer
Eight rabbits
A duck
And three geese...
That's what we caught.
To be honest I have had better hunts but they made it A LOT easier.
After we had all sucked the life out of the animals (literally and metaphorically) we decided to head back to the house.
We got inside and heard a loud banging from upstairs. We all ran up the stairs to see Zayn pounding a doorframe with a hammer. "Hey Ari... I'm sorry for earlier so... Enjoy your room!" He said cheerfully.
I gasped and ran over to the door. On the door, in sparkly black letters it said "Princess Ariela's Palace". I squeezed Zayn into the biggest hug ever and ran into the room.
Oh.
My.
GAWD!
The walls were painted black with neon paint splatters and there were TWO light switches; one for normal and one for black lights. There were four brand-new skateboards hanging on the wall and a flat screen TV next to them. There was a red mini fridge and a closet full of EVERYTHING!!! I had my own bathroom and a giant fluffy bed with a batman duvet cover and pillowcases. Amongst all of that, what stood out most was the One Direction poster that was hung over my bed and the princess tiara that sat alone on my bed.
I picked up the tiara and my eyes filled with happy tears. I placed it on my head and ran over to the guys. "I love you guys... You're my vampires..." I told them as I hugged them all at once.
"And your our wolfie." They said.
Suddenly, a door flew open down the hall and out stepped... Ugh, Louis.
He walked down the hall and up to me. "Hey Ari... Look, I'm sorry about earlier. I just... I have a really horrible history with werewolves and lost it for a second. But... I have this feeling that you're different... I just know it. So, can we possibly be friends?" Louis asked.
I stared at him in awe and the others left so they wouldn't ruin the apology. "Um... Sure I guess."
"Yay! Thank you Ari!" Louis said, wrapping me in a hug and I hugged back.
Then, I felt a sharp pain through my stomach.
"Stupid wolf..." Louis mumbled.
