AN: This is a extras chapter that depicts about the abilities of the species of dragon that Midnight and Claw are. As well as their weaknesses and size. The next update will consist of the information about the Dragon Slayers, their abilities, weaknesses, and what type of weapons and herbs they use against dragons, as well as the effects that they have.

Appearance
Scales: The scales of a Midnight Phantom can be pitch black, midnight blue, and the other cosmetic colors. Their scales always stay the same color pattern all over their bodies, and each individual scale has the same pattern of colors on it. These patterns can be solid, mixed colors, or in some sort of cloudy design. Their scales always sparkle like the stars in a midnight sky.

Eyes: The eyes of a Midnight Phantom are either, ice blue, indigo, cosmic purple, or deep sea blue. Their eyes are easily identified, and are unique to their species. The pupils is a slit not unlike those of a cat. The irises are large and take up about half of the eye being neatly placed around the pupil. Outside the area of the pupil and iris is the white of the eye. The white of the eye is what makes it so identifiable. With the whites of the eyes being a slightly lighter shade of the same color as the iris.

Wings: The wings of a Midnight Phantom are VERY different from the wings of other dragons. While they have the same basic structure and membranes they are also a bit larger compared to their size and are feathered with sharp claws at the elbows of the wings.

Tail: The tail of a Midnight Phantom is long and whip like. Ending in a sharp spade at the end. The tail is one third of this dragon's body length. This tail is often used as a whip in battle.

Paws: The paws of a Midnight Phantom have three longer fingers with webs between them, and one smaller one on the back of the paw in the front. While the Midnight Phantom's hind paws only have the three fingers. Each finger/toe ends with a deadly sharp medium length claw.

Neck: On the neck of this dragon you will find gills on either side towards the top. The neck takes up another third of the dragon's length.

Underbelly: The underbelly of a Midnight Phantom is much stronger than the rest of the body and is a single color that is lighter than the rest of its scales. The underbelly reaches from the very end of the lower part of the jaw to half way down the tail.

Legs: The legs of this dragon are long and lithe. They get thinner as you go down and are the thinnest at the wrists and ankles. They may seem weak but they are one of the strongest parts of this creature's body and are able to launch this dragon into a 24 hour run at twice the speed of a cheetah.

Extra Features: The extra features of the Midnight Phantom are easily seen. A good way to tell the difference between a male and a female Midnight Phantom is the horns at the tip of the nose. If it is a female she will have a single long horn that curves getting thinner as you go up, ending in a sharp tip. While if it is a male he will have the same long curved horn of the female as well as a second smaller horn behind it. In both cases both male and female the horns are able to spin rapidly working just like a drill. Another identifiable part of the Midnight Phantom is the fin like flap on the back of their neck. Having spikes along it with a thin layer of skin neatly in between each one. They can a new spike every hundred years. Their ears are somewhat similar to this part with three spikes of scale covered cartilage with two thin membranes between them.
