she starts, but is soon interrupted by nicholas smashing his lips into hers. she doesn't move. she feels guilty.

" i was worried about you. "

he says as he pulls away. he looks into her eyes, searching them.

" is something wrong? "

he asks.

" hm? "

her eyebrows raise and paige shakes her head after a couple seconds.

" no. i'm fine. "

he keeps searching her eyes. he nods, not wanting to push her. she smiles and walks past him, into the kitchen.

nicholas stares at her as she disappears behind the kitchen wall.

he sighs and walks in the opposite direction.
