Everyone is born with a firefly in the sky for them. In order to keep there luck and love in line they have to learn to care for their firefly. Every thirty years the firefly fall takes place. The firefly fall happens when no one is awake, and is when hundreds to thousands of fireflies die and fall down to earth to bless their caretakers one last night.
One night, Alex couldn't sleep so she wanted to come and feed her firefly when suddenly she saw thousands of stars fall down, as Alex began to realize that all these fireflies were falling down to earth a pale green firefly flies up to her, and kisses her cheek. She began to weep as her precious loving firefly's light begins to dim. She feels a pain in her chest when the light goes out. Unbeknownst to her, a tiny black dog walks up behind her pat pat pat.
