Person 1 finally receives a call from her crush, person 2, but why would (P2) be calling her at 1:30 am??? Despite her better judgment (P1) picks up the phone, " Hi, (P1), it's, (P2), I was wondering if you'd like to go out?" (P1) mind races at the speed of light. She questions why this couldn't wait until morning and what she should respond with, "Sure! Um absolutely! When? What time?"
There's silence for a few minutes, "I was thinking now?" (P1) ponders this, why now? What is so important that it can't wait till morning. "Sure why not! Come by and pick me up." She proceeds to give him her address.
(P2) pulls up in her driveway, and as (P1) climbs into the car she asks, "so where are we going anyway?" He looks her straight in the eyes.
"You're not going to like this, but either to get icecream or commit a murder... I haven't decided yet...". (P1) only had one thing on her mind, oh sh*t.
Sorry for the swearing... it seemed like something the character would say...
