He jumped down to the deep, dark sea.

The sea that hides sorrowful souls, wandering souls. The souls that had lost the purpose of living, and had given up their hearts to the creatures of the sea.

The sirens.

The song played once again, pulling the man into an embrace of a siren.

Human, how far had you hurt yourself for the sake of other humans? She caressed the man, brushed her hand on top of the man's heart.

Nereides, his heart is as blue as this entire ocean, said the other siren. All of the sirens circled around them altogether.

Nereides looked at him for the last time.

I will bring him back up to the shore, she put her hand to her own heart.

He fell down here by himself, no other sirens sang any songs. His pain and sadness brought himself here.

Impossible, Naiades. One human will never give up his life unless one or more sirens called him down by the song.

The man's hands moved to where she put her hand. Nereides flinched, he is alive?

Nereides, the man called.

She pulled his face closer, how are you alive in the sea?

The man moved his hand to her face, stroking it slowly and softly.

Nereides, you were the one who fell into the sea back in the summer. I lured you down; because I saw how badly in pain you were.

Your heart glimmed dark blue light, thus, I sang heartily. Dragged you down to the sea with me.

He opened his eyes and stared at hers, I took your soul.

He took a deep, heavy breath.

I couldn't stay alive in the land; the land was a harsh world. I told myself, if I could bring back time, I will go back to the sea like the last summer. To meet the one whom I took her soul and claimed it as mine.

Nereides, I am back.
