All i ever wanted
Was to sit in my air balloon
And keep floating
To touch clouds
To kiss the changing colours of the sky
To keep floating
On hot air
Something so empty
But so full
I was attached to it
My only form of flying
It was warm, cozy
It was my home
Some people used their jets and airplanes to fly around me
Circling me in
Puncturing my air balloon with their wings
Others simply flew past
As if i was just dust on their spotless transportation
They kept me stagnant
From floating higher
They told me i was a fool
To be happy for nothing
It was like they were nailing me to the ground
Or anchoring me
So that i was not too high and not too low
I was stagnant
But one day
In the cold winter
I let the warmth of hot air consume me
I let it warm me
And i continued to float
