September: Two years later
Ali's POV
I looked at myself in the mirror one last time. I had on a v-neck navy blue knee-length dress that had a sash around the middle. I had put on a pair of nude open toed four inch heels and my hair was pulled back into a chignon. I had on subtle makeup, except for the muted red lipstick I had put on. I smoothed out my dress, and suddenly, I saw a blak Gucci shoe in the corner of the mirror. It slowly approached, and soon enough, Harry had his arms around my waist and was kissing my cheek. I doubled over slightly and giggled. He kept kissing my cheek.
"You shouldn't look this beautiul. It isn't fair to the bride." He said.
"Oh really? Well, I saw her this morning, and she's stunning, don't worry. Come on, we shan't be late."
"Shan't?"
"Shall not. Shan't."
"Yes, everyone uses that word nowadays."
"Shhh." I said abruptly. We got in the car and began the drive to the church in downtown London.
I began to think about the place in our lives we were now. Harry and I were both 22. I had just finished school, but I was still only writing a weekly cloumn, as it fit better with Harry's traveling. Harry and the boys were still together, and were now working on the next album. We would be going to the Grammy's in a few weeks. Harry and I have been dating for almost four years; four amazing years. We had our little squabbles, but we were really happy. Eleanor and Louis, 23 and 24, respectively, are engaged, and I won't say I'm not jealous. I wish we could get married, but at the same time, I feel like we are too young.
We finally came to the church, and Harry parked the car. He came to my side and opened the door and offered his hand to help me out of the car. He put his arm around my waist as we made our way into St. Andrew's church. There were police officers guarding the fences that held back all the fans. Paparazzi lined the streets, and guests were still arriving. Harry and I walked the steps up into the church and went inside.
Harry gave me a kiss and a hug. "I'll see you soon, sweetheart." I smiled and stared until he had completely disappeared into a room off to the side. I turned around and went to the very far side of the back of the church. I met Eleanor, the bride's sister, the groom's sisters, and two of her other friends. We were the bridesmaids. They all smiled at me and we chatted for a few minutes. We picked up our bouquets of pink roses. Then, the wedding coordinator came up to us. "Ladies, she's here." We all nodded and followed her outside.
We came down the steps, and her sister opened the door of her limo. Her father came out first, and put his hand back in the limo. I saw her elegant hand come out, along with the huge diamond engagement ring. She slowly came out. I saw her beautiful gown, for the second time. I had been there when she picked it out. She was wearing a mermaid style gown. It was fitted with a sweetheart neckline at the top, and flowed out into huge wave-like ruffles at the bottom with a five-foot train. Her hair was controlled into a bun, and she had a flowing veil that went as far back as her dress.
The fans were cheering like crazy. She smiled as the limo rolled away, and she waved to everyone. She looked to all of us looking at her.
"All of you look so beautiful!" She said.
"These shoes you picked out are amazing!" Eleanor said and we all smiled. Each one of us went up to her to give her a kiss, and when I got to her, I kissed her cheek and said:
"You look beautiful, darling. I'm so happy for you."
"Thanks, Ali. I'm so happy you're here." Then we all got in our line. I was third to last. I made my way down the aisle, and halfway there, I was met by the groomsmen who would accompany me. I took Harry's arm.
