Chapter 2

Nash's POV:

Finally I was off to see Maddie, it had been a long time since I had looked her in the eyes. The last time I saw her was in the summer, even though it was hot outside she still cuddled up against me, knowing that I wouldn't be able to see her again for a long, long time.

Even with everyone yelling and laughing on the plane, all I could think about is Maddie.

I stare out the window, listening to the guys talk about some hot girl they all saw.

Maddie and I aren't really "dating" yet. I mean, I don't really even know if she likes me that way. I think she does. Well I do anyway. I have liked her that way for awhile now. I don't know how to tell her though, I don't want to ruin our friendship.

Cam nudges me, "Nash, you okay?"

I look up, half surprised, and I say, "yeah, I'm good, just tired."

Cam nods, but he knows something's on my mind, "alright."

Well, I guess I am a little tired, I didn't get any sleep last night, and not very much the night before. I lean back in my seat and watch as the city below us passed by. Maybe I could just have a quick nap, I think to myself, but as soon as I close my eyes for more than a second, I'm out, fast asleep.

I wake with my ears popping and Taylor hitting me on the head with an empty water bottle.

"We're here!!!!" Says Taylor, "wake up!!"

I sit up. "I'm awake!"

I look out the window, we were defiantly flying lower then we were before. Finally, we were almost there.

I decide to text Maddie to make sure she's here with Lilly to pick us all up.

"Hey Maddie, you here yet? Our plane is about to land."

She replies saying she's there waiting.

A couple minutes later the plane lands and we all get off, and go to get our luggage. Once we get it we go on a search for Maddie and Lilly.

As soon as I turn around I see her. Her long blonde hair, her bright blue eyes, you can't miss her.

I smile, and run to her, with my arms open and I pick her up. She wraps her arms around me and I feel a shiver go through me, I wrap my arms around her waste and spin her around.

"I missed you." She says

I smile and set her down, but don't let go of her. "I missed you too, Maddie."

She looks up at me, and for a second, just a second, I think we have a moment. When our eyes lock, and we feel like we're the only ones there. But she looks away and pulls herself out of my embrace.

She runs off to Cam and hugs him.

I try and smile and let it go, I say hi to Lilly and give one last glance to Maddie before getting into Lilly's car to drive off to Maddie's house, which will be another 10 minutes before we get there.

Another ten minutes before I get to see Maddie again.
