Sleepy head

This Night.

This night, they were sleeping in a hotel. Tomas wasn't asleep when he first heard the sounds next to him, so he looked at Marcus who was in the bed beside him. The sounds came from the older who was moving in the sheets like he was trying to escape something in his dreams. Well, nightmares.
'' Marcus ? '' Tomas said while he approched. But the sounds proceeded like no word was said, so Tomas started to wake him up carefully, strocking his hair.
'' Marcus, wake up... ''
Two blue eyes opened so fast that Tomas nearly fell from chock, Marcus was staring at him frightened.
'' w... What ? " Marcus said, sitting on his bed. Tomas sat close to him slowly to not scare the taller man, his hand finding the forearm of Marcus.
'' you were having nightmares''
Marcus looked Tomas in the eye before scratching his blond hair nervously.
''Do you want to talk about it ? "
" No.''
The answer came fast and, once again, Tomas felt useless and ducked his head. Instantly, Marcus regreted his rudeness and began to take Tomas' hand.
'' Forgive me Tomas, i don't want to be crude or mean with you. I know you want to help me ''
'' And what Can I do to help you then ? "
Tomas approched his face to Marcus', his eyes fixed on him. Something in their exchange was intimate as their proximity.
'' I... I don't know.. ''
Marcus left Tomas hand and began to rub his sleepy eyes, and wipe little tears that made their way down his cheeks.
'' Hum... maybe if you sleep with me your fears will leave ? ''
Tomas' voice was so naive the older was nearly melting. Tomas leaved Marcus ' bed and began to walk to his own bed, fliping up the blankets and the sheets, moving to sit in a side of the bed and gently taping the other side.
'' Come, don't worry. ''
Marcus stood up shyly and came to Tomas' bed, climbing the matress with a leg and nesting himself into the comfy blankets and pillows. Near to Tomas, the fears faded away. The younger was ajusting the sheets as Marcus wouldn't be cold, passing a warm hand to his shoulder gently.
'' Goodnight Marcus. ''
