Exposed Secret.

Chapter 2.

"WHAT!!?" I yelled at my most wonderful bestfriend Katharie as she kept kicking my shin.I glanced round the table as everyone's attention was on me.

"Sorry".I muttered.

"Are you even listening to me?" She asked downright annoyed.

"Yes, I am. You said I should go with you to watch the football game this night".I replied giving her a stern look at interrupting my thoughts.

"Well, I said that about how many minutes ago?" She asked rubbing her chin like she was thinking of something. "SEVEN FREAKING MINUTES!!!". She suddenly yelled, obviously frustrated at my lack of attention.

"Um, sorry". I said shyly.

"Whatever". She answered as the bell was rung signaling that lunch was over.

"Well, see you after school".I said as I rushed to my English class. "See you guys later." I said to the others.

"Today, we are going to do a different thing in class." My English teacher, Mr Simon spoke. "There would be eight groups with two students each. Each group will choose a topic to speak on and submit to me. Then, you have a week to prepare on the topic and then present it to the class".

"SILENCE!!" Mr Simon spat out as the whole class grumbled. "This will be your test so you better prepare well". He concluded just as the bell was rung.

"Patricia!, I've been looking all over the place for you". My best friend Kate screamed and gave me the tightest bear hug you can ever imagine as my other friends approached us.

"Don't forget you are going with us to tonight's football game". She reminded me.

"I don't want to go". I mumbled.

"Well, you have no choice". She said with a smirk.

One thing I really love about Kate is that she doesn't take 'no' for an answer. Facts about Kate.
- She eats a lot.
- She talks a lot.
- She fights for her loved ones. (Hurt anybody she loves and you're in for it).
- She loves to keep her hair short.
- She has brown hair and brown eyes.
- She loves to wear anything made of jeans.
- She has an annoying twin brother -Andrew.

Well, enough story about Kate.

We all headed to my house and on getting home, my mum had already arrived and the house was already filled with the aroma of freshly baked cookies.

"Hey mum, welcome home". I ran to greet my mum with a kiss on her cheek.

"Welcome darling,  I've missed you". My mum said and hugged me.

If I say hugged, I mean almost hugged the living daylights out of me.  I'm surrounded with Huggle monsters (people that like to hug A LOT).

"Hmm, is that cookies I smell? Welcome back Mrs Barnes". Kate's gluttonous brother, Andrew asked as he hung his mouth wide open.

"Nope they're my armpits". Kate retorted with a smile just as my mum greeted everyone and began to hand out cookies.

"Thanks!" We all echoed.

"Mum, can I go out to watch the football game tonight?" I asked my mum.

'Please say no, please say no, please say no' . I chanted inwardly awaiting my mother's reply.

"Who are you going with?" She asked

"Carlin,Pamela,Benjamin, Andrew, Charles, Richard, Linda, Sophia and I". Katharie butted in.

"Big mouth". I mouthed to her and she stuck out her tongue.

"You can go sweety but don't forget that curfew is by 10". My mum said,"look after your brother also" she added and headed for her room.

"Wait, why is Carlin going?" I asked.

"Pamela is going. Does that ring a bell dummy?"

"Whatever". I answered and plopped down on the nearest couch.

Carlin is my troublesome 13 year old brother who knows nothing else than video games. He has  brown hair just like my mum but took my dad's blue eyes.  He has a crush on Pamela, my friend, Richard's sister.

We all decided to pass away time while we waited for the game to start before leaving home by watching a movie. We decided to watch 'Home', my favourite.

My litte favourite boovs, here I come.
