Kaito Kid and Bloody Rose's identity

Chapter 5

((Kaito POV))

I was violently sick in the toilet and gasped painfully, the burning in my throat rose and I trembled in fear, forgetting my poker face. Shinchi panicked and fussed all over me, I snapped at the thought that he somehow smells delicious. 'What the hell?' I thought then.....

I felt my teeth and jumped in horror, 'I have fangs! ' I thought as I looked at my finger which I used to touch them. The blood ran down it and the hole healed quickly, I stared dumbly, realising what this means....

'I'm a vampire? How is that possible?? I thought they are tales for kids...' I thought and suddenly moved away from Shinchi who was leaning over me with a wet towel, he smells so delicious that I reached out for him then suddenly pulled back when I realised what I was doing.

"Kaito? What's wrong? Why were you horribly sick? Is it something to do with Bloody Rose?" Shinchi asked in worry and felt my cool forehead then pulled back. 'I'm cold I guess' I thought, looking at Shinchi's odd reaction to my temperature.

"Come on, if you're better I'll make you some chicken and noodles" Shinchi said as he started to walk out to the kitchen. I changed my clothes and pulled on a black hoodie and shorts, I sat on the bed, lost in thoughts. 'I would probably want blood.... how am I be able to go to school? Will I continue to be Kaito Kid? Can I actually go in sun? Arghhhhh' I frustratedly thought and fall head-faced on the pillow.

"Come on Kaito! Eat something! " Shinchi called from the kitchen. I got up from the bed and walked in the kitchen, I staggered back in reaction to a sweet smell. Shinchi looked at me worryingly as I tried to hold my breath and not to smell him, I can't help it! I shoved some noodles in my mouth and realised that I can't taste anything but still can eat and drink, I sighed in relief.

"Kaito... could you tell me what's going on? Please, I don't want to waste my detective skills, I'm tired now..." Shinchi said awkwardly and rubs the back of his neck. I sighed and thought that it may as well be alright to tell him, "Don't freak out though like I did earlier...."

I told him what it might've happened when the Bloody Rose disappeared and I gained immortality from it, about Pandora and my father andddd the most intense one; the recent changes. Shinchi stared wide-eyed at me and said "Show me the fangs! " and I jumped at this then awkwardly opened my mouth. He gasped and grabbed my face to look closely at the white fangs gleaming in the light, I trembled at the skin contact and backs away.

Shinchi looked at me concerningly and said "You're thirsty, aren't you? You can bite me Kaito...."

I blushed as well as Shinchi did aswell, "I-I don't think I can..." I said, scared. He pulled me closer to his chest, making me even more terrified as the fangs pricked my bottom lip.

"Kaito... I trust you so please... just do it for me" he said gently and kissed my forehead. Shinchi pulled me onto his black sofa and pushed my face into his bare neck with me on top of him. I blushed even more then gasped painfully as the thirst got worse, I gripped Shinchi's shirt and pulled myself closer to his bare neck. The delicious smell got stronger and I couldn't control myself any longer so I bit into his soft neck and started to gulp up his blood.

It was so delicious with so many flavours, it was thick like and so intoxicating. Shinchi gripped tightly on my hoodie at the pain and sighed softly, I licked the last of the blood and rested my head on his strong chest. "Thank... you " I finally said as I fell asleep into a dreamless sleep as Shinchi smiled and cradled me; "No problem Kaito..."
