Dueling Club Pt 1

Melissa POV

So after Harry and I were released from the hospital wing, I rushed to the owlry to send a letter to Tonks and Lupin, hoping they wouldn't try to pull me out of school.

Uncle Remus,

Please listen to me. I know by now you have heard that i was in an accident during a Quddditch match, but I am perfectly alright. And if you have heard of the attacks at the school, involving Filch's cat and a first year student, I can assure you that it is nothing serious, nor can it be anything that can hurt me. I am writing this letter in hopes that you do not remove me from school just yet. And i hope that you trust me enough to allow me to continue my education and know that I am capable of looking out for myself as are my friends.

I also write one to my Aunt Petunia. I need answers and she is the only one who can give them to me. I am in the middle of writing the letter when i hear someone call my name softly.

'Lissa." I turn around and see him standing in the far corner of the owlry and walk towards him. Before I can say anything he pulls me into a desperate kiss, almost as if he were a drowning man and I was his source of air. I hear more steps getting closer and try to pull away, but he just pushes me against the wall and hides me from view. "What are you doing? We are going to get caught" I whisper "Only if they hear your voice now shh" he says and presses his lips to mine again. Have I mentioned I love him? His voice, his accent, all of it. I hear the sounds of older kids, then they stop only to snicker, apologize and walk away. finally we pull apart and I smile at him. "That was risky. I wonder why they just left" I say " Probably because they know that the owlry is one of the few places teachers don't look for students and therefore is one of the best places for secret indiscretions" He explains while smiling. He goes to his owl and sends it off with a letter while i finish my letters and send them off with Wolfsbane. We look at each other, kiss one last time before I dash out the room and head to Herbology, in my pocket I feel the parchment that he slipped in and take it out

Lissa, I cant stand them not knowing. I am going to tell Harry about us tonight and I want you there when i do, Astronomy tower, after classes.

I sigh, i knew this was going to happen, I just need them both to know that it has to stay a secret for now anyway. I make it to Greenhouse 3 just in time and stand next to Daph who looks at me with a knowing smirk and i pray my lips aren't too swollen from his kisses.

Later

Just as classes end I find myself walking towards the Astronomy tower when I am stopped by Draco and Daph, " Hey Mel. going to Lockhart's dueling club tonight?" Daphne asks me "Uhh yeah of course aren't you? Snape is his partner and I can't wait for him to show up the fraud." I reply and we set off with various others to the Great hall.

Alright my Potterheads. This update has been a long long lonnnngggg tome coming and i hope you like it. yes It is short but it will be worth it because the biggest surprise isn't the Mel and Harry are Parslemouths, but that I have finally decided who to make Melissa's secret love and he will be revealed in the next 2 chapters that I hope to kick out sometime later today
