The Death Path

As we saw the monster pass out we ran into our original hiding place, and slammed the bolder behind us. Rose bud was bleeding so bad she almost passed out I yelled "we need to help her!" "Let's leave this STUPID place!" yelled Nina. So we looked from around the corner, and quickly rushed out of the cave. The mysterious cat was holding Rose bud, after she had passed out a few seconds ago. As I turned around to look at the cave one more time I thought I saw eyes from a distance. But instead just ignored them, and hurried away. We climbed out of the mountain. And decided to follow a random path. We followed a path through tall pine trees, all shoved together, under the almost night sky . We kept walking in the path until we found a tree, with a door, expensive Brooklyn windows, and glimmering light coming from the inside. "Come on guys lets go ask this creature if we can stay here." I honestly didn't think it was a good idea, but I did it anyway. As we walked into the house I saw with my very own eyes a kitynee. It was a old white one with gray ear fur, and light blue crystal eyes. It was slimmer than ever, and looked like it was about to die. From starvation. It creaked as it talked in its own evil-ish voice. "So,how are you children,"she said with a creaking smile. "Were fine," said Rose bud as the scratch across her right eye glistened in the sunlight. "Oh......okay," said the kitynee as the creaking smile had gotten bigger, and bigger. Oh, I thought to myself. Rose bud is gonna get killed. I could assure of this because kitynees are the best skilled, and prank worthy animals on the planet! She said "sit down young one enjoy this. I'm just about you get dinner." I bet you more than anything that right there, right then that skinny, and clever kitynee was hatching a evil plan. "Oh..okay! Sounds nice!" my sister said so gullibly. As the kitynee walked away I could here it whisper under its breath "tail dinner sounds nice, especially with a little kitty girl." She came back two minutes later with a big fat knife. "Yay, I'm so exited for the food!" yelled Rose bud In excitement. "Heh me to," said the old slender kitynee. As she slipped right behind Rose buds back, and held up the knife to her tail. Everyone looked in horror. Nina's facial expression looked like she was in question. Tiki was wowed to see this was happening. Keeper looked as though he doesn't want his unexpected girlfriend to die, or get their tail cut off.  And of course I was horrified watching my sister, a girl who helped me get friendships, a girl who helped me in hard times, a girl who sat in the shadows with me when I needed it, and this girl was about to either receive a stub tail, deaf, and possibly no tail at all just a deep dark hole. And the nameless cat was dead in expression. I was about to yell for Rose bud to watch out, but the tender old kitynee got to her first. She had cut off the tail. There was a hole. A deep dark hole were her tail use to be. The kitynee sprinted for the tail. As Rose bud yelled hurting, and being in Terror. The kitynee chewed Rose buds tail, and leaped out of the way. We rushed Rose bud out the door. Found a quick tree, and sat there depressed for Rose bud.
