Always the same dream

(Y/N)'s POV

I slowly open my eyes and start to look around. Its not even day light. Its dawn actually. I go to sit up, but I dont move. I look at my waist and see Jeff's arms. I sigh and start to wiggle out of it. He only pulls me closer and if possible falls into a deeper sleep.
"Jeff let go." I say as I put my arms on his chest and push myself up. It was usless. I was gonna be stuck here forever. I lay my head back down and listen to his heartbeat. Its really faint and slow. Like he wasn't even alive. Come to think of it, so far when everyone in the house touched me they were very cold. Except for Masky and the other two. I start to shake Jeff. He grunts and looks at me.
"What mud slick?" He asks and closes his eyes again.
"Why is everyone here so cold?" I ask quickly. He looks at me questionly.
"What do you mean. They have been nice right?" He asks and sits up. I shake my head.
"Not like that. Like their skin. Its so cold. And your heart its really slow and faint." I ask. He looks at me with the strightest face. He takes my hand and puts it to my neck where my puls is. I wait for a second. Almost thirty seconds go by and it finally beats. I let out a sigh of relief. Then get scared. Jeff ruffles my hair.

"Dont worry. Everyone's like that. Its Jade's power. She slows down everyone's aging that enters this house. She controls time." I nod. "Everyone except her dad and his proxies, Masky and the others. He handles them. Soon you'll feel cold and have the same heartbeat as us." He says. I look at him.
"How old are you?" I ask. He thinks.
"Technically Im 17 but I've been here for way more than that. So long I lost track. So I dont know." He says.
"Oh. Will I be like that to?" He looks around.
"If you last here. Now go to sleep." He pulls my head to his chest and puts his arms under his head. I close my eyes.

BANG

I dont want to sleep. I keep having the dream. Just closing my eyes makes me hear that sound. The gun going off. I have been having that dream for a while. Even before I got here. It just didn't have any meaning till now I guess. I hug closer to Jeff. I still have to meet everyone else tomorrow. I need sleep. I go to my clothes and ruffle through the pants pockets. I pull out the necklace my mom got me (The pic at the top). She always loved odd things. No wonder she loved me. I clip the necklace on then climb back to bed. I dont bother to cuddle Jeff. I move to the far side of the bed, I didnt want to wake him up. I feel tears escape my eyes as I slowly fade in and out of sleep. I dont even know why Im crying any more. I just am.

I rub my eyes hard before I open them. I yawn and stretch. Before I can get up there is a knock at the door. Unconsciously I walk to the door and open it, only in my underwear and Jeff's hoodie. I look up to see Slenderman at the door.
"May I come in." He asks. I slowly nod and back away.

"Mr. Slender. Im sorry about my dressing I just woke up." I scramble for pants.
"Its fine child. Im only here to go over a few rules. Sit." He says. He is sitting on the bed so I just drop to the floor. He shakes his head and lifts me with one of his tendrils and places me on the bed. "So rule 1: You can not harm anyone here while meaning to. Try not to on accident neither. Rule 2: Never leave the house alone till you have had proper training. You will have training with Jeff since you two have grown close. Rule 3: Never EVER defiy me. Or my rules, or you will be severely punished. Is that clear?" He explains.

I nod. He nods as well and leave. Just as he leaves Jeff walks in. He looks at me and sighs. He sits on the bed in front on me. I look at him with scared eyes. I was scared. Slender scares me.
"Im not gonna like this much..." I hear him whisper. Before I can ask he opens his arms for me to hug him. I stay where I am for a little. "Come on Mud Slick. This deal ain't gonna last long." With that I hug him. He hesitantly hugs me back. He would never hurt me. Yea. Never.
