I woke up early the following day, quickly dialing Richie's number, after a few rings, he picked up. "What the hell Y/n? It's five o'clock in the fucking morning!" The boy grumbled out, I sighed and ignored his comment. "Do you have my diary?" I muttered, the boy grew quiet for a second. "Answer me, Richard" I said angrily. "Um, well, the thing is, I did have it, but..." He trailed off, "but what?" I asked with annoyance. "Well, I set it down and when I went back to pick it up, it was gone..." He muttered guilty, I tried to hold back from screaming. "Are you kidding me?! That means anyone could've picked it up!" I yelled out "I didn't mean to, it's just-" "y'know what, it's fine, whatever" I muttered as I hung up, resting my head on the cold wall.

As I sleepily laid my head on my pillow, a loud ring rang through the house, making me jump up and run to the phone, immediately picking it up. "Hello?" I softly muttered, the other side of the line was quiet, so I repeated my words, a bit louder this time.
I heard stumbling on the other line and a voice even softer than mine. "H-hey" they muttered out, I immediately knew who it was, a slight smile forming, El kept her promise.
"H-hi Mike" I muttered as I pursed my lips into a line, he remained quiet. "W-why'd you call?" I muttered with a sigh, "because I knew I had to, we need to talk Y/n, about you, about me, about us" "what us, there is no us, at least not anymore, didn't you say it yourself? Didn't you tell me to stop contacting you? I'm done trying to talk, Mike, we-" "stop! Just stop! I just want to talk to you! Is it that hard to understand?! You never let me fucking explain myself and this is why we always argue! I just want to talk to you!...Please let me talk to you..." He screamed into the phone, his voice trailing off at the end of his sentence. "Fine...go on" I muttered. "I miss you, I really really miss you, Y/n, that's the main reason I called."
