I hurry along the many corridors in my home. My home is in one of the better parts of our city. I live in Bubbleshire on Candy Lane. My home is very grand and very big. I ask every person I come across if they have seen Samuel. The answer is always the same.
"No my lady, I have not seen master Samuel today"
It frustrates me. I check all of his usual places, The library, his room and the dining hall. In a final attempt to seek him out I go to the gardens. Originally our Mother was the one that tended to the gardens on her own but since her death, Others have taken over the care of it. It is very beautiful, there are always bright flowers in the garden no matter the season. It is late summer at the moment so there is still much fruit on the trees and the flowers are in a bright bloom. I walk slowly through the garden, admiring all the amazing blooms, it only seems right to do so. I come across a loveseat that I didn't know we had. There is Samuel, sitting there peacefully with a book in his lap and a concentrated look on his face.
"Samuel" I say.
He jumps up quickly closing his book with a snap. I had surprised him. No one ever surprises Samuel, except for me of course. We stare each other down for half a minute before he cracks. Within seconds we are both lying on the ground laughing our heads off. After a few minutes we re-gain our composure and I start to look serious again. He looks at my face and says.
"No, no, no. Not that face, that face means bad. Isabeau what have you done?!"
"Samuel it is not what I have done, it is what has been done to me".
Samuel gives me a confused look before beckoning me to sit down on the seat.
"Can we go somewhere more private please Samuel. What I am going to tell you is very Important and must be kept a secret"
We head out of the gardens back into our house. I suggest the markets because it is so busy that we will not be over heard. Samuel agrees. I quickly run upstairs to put on a simple skirt and grab my purse. I have to wear the skirt in public which is very annoying. We meet up at the front gate and start to walk towards the city centre. At first while we walk, we talk. We talk about a wide range of things, from Charles engagement, to the sweet fruits of the season. When we reach the markets Samuel asks me once again what is happening. So I tell him everything. I tell him about the glittering lights, the store vender, the strange feelings and I give him the piece of paper with the dream on it. When I had left my fathers office I had slipped the paper into my palm so I could further explain it all to Samuel. He listens patiently and reads the dream. Samuel doesn't say anything and I thank him for tat. He takes me to a few stalls where we buy books for ourselves and Jewellery for Charles wife to be.
"Izzy, thank you for confiding in me. I will study the books for information on this". Samuel says to me.
I nod in thanks and he walks away to the library for we are now back at home. I climb the stairs to my room and put on my riding clothes. I hurry down the stairs again and I run out to the stables where my horse Swift is kept. Swift is a pure black Stallion. He is not tame and I am the only one that can go near him, let alone ride him. He has Deep purple eyes just like mine. He is the fastest horse I know of and very strongly built. I saddle him up and head towards our back field.
Swift starts to Gallop and I let him. Feeling the cool wind rush over my face as I go at an increasing is one of the best feelings in the world. Looking to the horizon I see a familiar white shape. I urge Swift to increase his speed and we race towards the other horse and her rider. Finally I can see them clearly. It is Damien and his white mare Sylver. Damien looks the same as always. He has soft, curly golden brown hair and warm brown eyes. As per usual he is wearing casual pheasants clothing. Sylver is the purest white horse you will ever see, the exact opposite of Swift. As Swift shares my eyes in a way, Sylver shares Damien's. I jump off Swift and let him doo as he wishes. Damien does the same to Sylver and we run and hug one another.
