A light touch on his right cheek awoke him as he was sleeping with his left cheek resting on his arm on the counter. Feeling dizzy, he blinked several times to recover his senses and finally focused his eyes on the person in front of him. Frowning a bit, he succeeded in recognizing the boy and let out a deep sigh, turning his face to the opposite side. A chuckle answered his childish reaction, but right now, he couldn't care less. Mouth hidden in the hollow of his elbow, he mumbled something while closing his eyes, willing to continue his nap.
- You look like a little kid right now, hyung. The other boy said, using a slightly mocking tone as he ran a timid hand on Jinhwan's nape.
The latter straightened slowly but didn't reject the touch, frowning at the shelves where all the alcohol bottles were disposed. There were a lot and he wondered which ones of them Hanbin used to make his cocktails. He was pretty sure that the bartender served him at least six glasses, each one with a different color from the last one, with a different taste, and each one with more and more alcohol in it.
- Yeah, make fun of me as much as you want, but I never tried to make you drunk, you punk.
He replied, using the counter to stand up. Of course he never did, it was the first time they had ever met, and even so, he found a way to finish worn off before the greatest part. And his anwser couldn't be more meaningless. Awesome. He didn't know either where all his anger came from. He wasn't sure about his ability to walk right now, all his strenght had left his body, but he didn't want to look more pitiful than he did on the moment, so he released his grip from the counter and managed to stand next to Hanbin. Proudly, he lifted his chin at his direction and stared at him, waiting for any comment, about anything before he could leave. Even if he was still a bit drunk, he could tell that Hanbin was looking at him with lust in his eyes, a carnivorous smile on his face. When did the situation go wrong ? When did he become the prey instead of the predator ? It was scary.
- Then why did you drink all the cocktails I gave you ? Hanbin asked, hand brushing Jinhwan's. I never forced you to do so.
He shivered because of the ticklish touch and drew back his hand to his chest, looking at Hanbin. He didn't answer the question, simply because he didn't know why he drank it all. His second cocktail was to forget, then, the others he drank were like a need. He needed them, that's it. It was so clear in his mind, but now, it seemed so strange. Something had changed since the first glance they exchanged. From the moment he came back from the dancing floor, he was suspicious of something. He didn't felt as comfortable as he first did, but now, he was sure. Something was off.
He remembered dancing with the small crowd, his body following the flow as other bodies came to stick to his. He danced collé-serré for a while, enjoying the heat emanating from the bold dance and the likeable sensation of being engulfed in a warm, moving cocoon. Exposing his back to the bar, he felt a burn on it, as if one's stare could be felt physically with so much intensity. Turning his head back to the counter, he saw Hanbin looking at him, but the latter was raising an eyebrow, as if he was asking him what he was doing. No more smile on his face, just a curious expression that Jinhwan didn't understand. A hand then surprised him, slipping under his shirt. The hand's owner was behind him, and she laughed softly near his ear as she drew closer, her luscious chest pushing against his back. He felt the urge to escape from this unwanted embrace, but he was so startled that his limbs wouldn't move. The time froze. Eyes rounded by surprise and unfocused, mouth opened in a silent gasp, his body was suddenly so tense that it hurt. He was ok with slight touches while dancing, but this was clearly a supported one, seeping of sexual desire. He didn't like women. Not when coming to sex at least, he wasn't arroused by them at all. He'd never fell in love with anyone, so his judgment was only based on his sexual experience and it was clearly enough for him. The hand made its way higher on his torso and caressed his abs gently while sticky lips crushed on the skin between his neck and his shoulder. It was more than he was able to bear and he looked around deseperately to find some help. Strangely, everyone near them seemed to be occupied with more important stuff, ignoring him, unwilling to help or better, thinking he was enjoying it relying on the jealous stares they were sending him. He regretted leaving his seat at the bar counter, leaving Hanbin. He began to sweat, fearing he might end up abused by the woman. Even then, his limbs didn't move, he was completely paralyzed, and it was something else than fear. Where is Hanbin ? He thought for the nth time, just before he felt two cold teeths brushing his skin, right where the woman's lips were seconds ago. He was on the verge of fainting when someone grabbed his wrist and pulled him out of the crowd. The woman didn't say anything, only wincing once before turning to someone else. Was it that easy from the start ? Again, Jinhwan looked up to his savior, and thanked him for saving him for the second time tonight. He was more than confused, and Hanbin knew it. The atmosphere abruptly changed and everything seemed to go back to normal. The younger gave him his second cocktail when they reached the counter, and he drank it oneshot because he was told to do so. By who, he didn't know, but he heard it, in his head. Still in shock, he didn't mind it, but he frowned and locked his eyes with Hanbin's. The latter smiled, and the others cocktails followed without a hitch. And so that's why he ended completely drunk, sleeping on his chair under Hanbin's protective stare.
His head hurt. As if his brain was bouncing in it. His blood rushed to his temples and his hands immediatly came up to press them. Only able to close his eyes to prevent his tears to fall, he was bending in pain.
- I'm sorry, that's painful when I read your mind, I know. I thought the alcohol would have help you feel dizzy for some more hours so I could have send you home safely and do my job. Sadly, you remember everything now and I can't erase your memories when you're conscious .. Hanbin said, sounding a bit disappointed.
- That's a bit of a sad ending for you. You're too quick-witted for your own good, no one was able to recover this fast from an order, that's strange. But well, it's how it works. You forget, or you die. You've got a really pretty face though, what a waste .. Everybody has left the club now, it's seven in the morning and the birds are singing. Do you have any last wishes before I kill you ?His tone was cold, and no hint of smile was left on his face. Hanbin the nice charming boy was gone, and what was standing in front of Jinhwan was something dangerous.
But what the heck was that ? Reading minds, erasing memories, orders, last wishes ? Jinhwan's head was nearly imploding from the flood of informations and the pain didn't left, even if his heartbeat seemed to have calm down. What was worse was that he didn't even understand a thing, and dying without knowing why was certainly not on his wishlist. Painting, he grabbed Hanbin's sleeve, not looking anywhere else but at the blackwooden floor and he asked, his voice shaking.
- What are you ? What do you want from me ?
He never thought about death, nor dying in his early 20s, but maybe it wasn't a big deal. What was his purpose in life ? Making money, cumulate one night stands, and what ? Nothing. Why did he come in this nightclub anyway ?
- Look at me.
Clenching his jaw, he looked up. Hanbin was facing him with his dark brown eyes, similar to small glass beads, so deep and so bewitching, his nose overhanging his cherry lips. So handsome. His right hand came to Jinhwan's nape, his thumb rubbing his carotid while the left hand rested on the smaller's hip. When Jinhwan was thinking about kissing those gorgeous lips once before dying, a small cut done at the base of his neck by Hanbin made him hissed a little. Hanbin's nail pushed further in the damaged flesh, and blood came out. Hanbin's eyes turned red, crimson red, and he smiled. A teeth smile. And Jinhwan didn't miss a piece.
- So, what do you think I am ?
