Jake
Never, and I mean never has so much happened to me in one day, though I am probably not the only werewolf to feel that way after finding their mate. Yet when most find their mates it is not as eventful as mine. Not that I would trade it for the world, I am just so happy that I found her after searching so long.
I am going to stay by her side until I draw my last breath, which I hope is not time soon. Even now as I am laying in bed beside Lisa I am at peace. I did not think I would ever be one for spooning but with her any contact makes me so content that I feel like the luckiest werewolf in history, and we have a long history of our kind.

I had been home for about a week. After I woke up I seemed to have the fastest recovery for a person that had been in a coma. That might also be because of my Alpha genes, I guess having your dad being the Alpha has it’s perks.
I stared into the mirror that hung on the back of my closet door and took a deep breath. Today I would be going back to school for the first time in what seemed like forever. I was more than glad to have Jake, my mate.
I never thought I could get so close to someone in such a short time, but everyday I fall for him more and more. I wondered what he would think about my outfit. I was wearing a yellow skirt with a white top. It was a little flirty, I couldn’t wait to see Jake’s reaction.
I walked down stairs knowing that he would be at the kitchen counter eat the breakfast my mom made him, as he had everyday this past week. I think it’s because of him that I didn’t turn bitter. I was almost my self again, but I had a feeling with Jake I would be even better than I was before.
Maybe we would kiss today, I know he wanted to kiss me but didn’t want to scare me by going too fast. But I wanted nothing more than him and I was going to tell him that.
I made it to the bottom of the stairs and walk into the kitchen where Jake was waiting for me. He looked up as I entered and I heard him suck in a quick breath. His reaction made me smile knowing that I affected him the same way he affected me.
“Good Morning beautiful.” he said as I came closer and engulfed me in a bear hug, or should I say wolf hug.
“Good Morning to you too handsome.” I replied smiling up at him as I sink into his warm embrace.
I heard my mom let out a loving laugh.
“Honey are you going to eat this morning or hug your hunk of a mate and starve till lunch?” she questioned in a jocular tone.
We all laughed for a while as we sat down to eat before we were late.
“I would never let her starve Emily.” he said in a serious tone.
I snuggled into his side as nods her head agreeing with what he just said. I looked up at the clock and shot up out of my seat dragging Jake with me a I saw the clock tell us that if we don’t hurry that were going to be late for school.
“Bye Mom!” I yelled as we ran out of the house and went out to face the day.

Okay, so I know it's been a while but I finally had a little free time that I used to write. I still have a huge work load but I have taken the story off of hold. I will try to update as often as I can but this summer is also very packed for me too. Just wanted to thank you reads for giving my slow going story a chance and for all the feedback that I recive. I also wanted to let y'all know that if you want to make a cover or banner for LO, I would love it! And as always I want feedback, I use it to make my story better for me to write and y'all to read.
