Deeks POV
The case went by quicker than usual, only a couple of days in fact. It wasn't very interesting really, a women killed her friend over a lottery ticket.. Crazy what greed does to you! It was Wednesday mid afternoon, everyone was finishing their paper work when I felt someone's eyes watching me... Kensi's eyes watching me. Her beautiful miss matched eyes frequently gazing over to me and every once in a while she opens her month like she wants to say something.
"Something on my face?" I say teasingly.
"What, um nothing. Nothing's on your face. Er why?" Kensi stutters out.
Knowing I have the upper hand I can't help but smirk. "You've been watching me for a while now. I either have something on my face or you're admiring my beauty."
They lock eyes for a while, until Kensi looks down red cheeked.
"You, beautiful? Haha I don't think so" she can barely say.
I turn to sam "Have I got something on my face?"
"No, why?" Sam asked confused. He was zoned out of their conversation, while he was proof reading what he wrote.
"Well that's confirmed then, you can't keep your eyes off me because you think I'm gorgeous!"
" I.. I.. Shut up Deeks." To my amusement I can see her cheeks go tomato red.
"Guys guys did you hear that! Kensi thinks I'm gorgeousssss." I can't help but say a little too excited.
Kensi was about to argue back when hetty calls them " Mr Deeks, Miss Blye, in my office please."
Kensi and I look at each other a bit confused but also quite intrigued.
"We've got a new case and there's no time to tell you in ops. Navigation officer James Bell was murdered earlier today at 'Relationship Health Centre', shotgun to the head. He was there with his girlfriend Izzy, they were having trust issues and wanted to work it out." Hetty states.
"No disrespect, but why can't you brief us in ops?" I asked confused.
"Well Mr Deeks, you and Miss Blye are needed at the 'Relationship Health Centre', your plane leaves in 30 minutes. You two will need to go undercover as Cara and Tom Bennett, which have communication issues, to solve the case. You will be in contact with us all whenever you need and the rest of the team will help you on the outside. Oh and this isn't like any other relationship centre you've ever heard of, it specialises in team building and outdoor activities."
I clear my throat and look at Kensi.
"Does this... Um... Have something to do.. Err... With our... Situation...thing? I manage to get out.
"Of course not, why would you think that? Is something going on between you two? Hetty asks with a hidden smirk knowing in fact this undercover mission might actually bring up unresolved feelings.
"NO.. no noo" Kensi replies way too quick.
Kensi checks turns bright red... Yet again! This is becoming a habit she thinks... But only around Deeks...?
I chuckle slightly and smirk at Kensi, knowing it will make her more embarrassed.
Hetty hands them their IDs and other information they will need to know.
"That is all, good luck and be safe." Hetty says.
