Chapter 4

Ryan's pov

"What do you think will happen to Jake?" I ask the girls

"I think that Jake's grandfather will make a special power on he's katna." Elise told Ryan

"I think that Jake will trained harder than us and he will be our team leader." said Hailey

"I think that one day, he'll stop the great evil Master told us about." I told them

Later that night...

I was laying on my bed thinking what happened to Jake when they left the cave. Did Master tell Jake about his past life and how he, himself became a ninja. Did Master show Jake all of Master's wepons that he used when he was a ninja. That was the last thought, before I went to sleep.

Alarm beeps...

I turn off the alarm.

I need to get dress to go to school, What it's 8:27! I need to be at school at 8:40!

I ran out of the house yelling" Bye mom!"

I just got to school grounds when the unspeakable happened.......the bell rang.

I yelled "Hold the door!"

Someone holded the door for while the others ran inside the school.

"Thanks" I said to the person while I'm coming inside.

When I was in the building I came face to face with Joe, a rich child to Hennry Cross.

"Your welcome." he said to me

"We should get to class before the bell rings, I don't want to stay after school, again." said Joe

Elise's pov

"Where is Ryan?" I asked Jake

"Don't know, I think he went to the beach with Joe Cross." he said

"Hey guys." says Ryan coming in the cave with us

"Where have you been!?" ask Hailey

"With the one and only Joe Cross." he repiled to Hailey

"Enough! Let us train together. It is time for hand to hand combat. Boys vs boys, and girls vs girls."

"Yes I have been waiting to try a move on you."Ryan said to Jake

"We'll see about that." Jake repiled

"This is what I call the..." Ryan said before Jake countered Ryan's attack

"Whoa! How did you do that!" yelled Ryan on the floor now getting up.

"Training. Make your enemy make the first move, then counter it so that you have the uper hand." Jake said wisely

"Don't get it. I'm gonna do it again." said Ryan

Ryan did a kick to Jake's center mass, but Jake spined around and kick Ryan before he could do anything. Ryan fell to the ground seeng that Jake hasn't even been hurt at all.

"How do these things!?!" Ryan yelled

"Very good." said Master

"Tommorrow will be the test that will make you team leader or not." said Master to Jake

Jake's pov

"You wanted me Master?" I ask

"Yes Jake, I need to teach you a counter attack that you can use on anyone else." said Master

Master showed the move, I was in shock.

"So does it goes like this." I said while doing the move

"Perfectly. I've seen people have trouble before, but you... your something else. Something special about you that I can't tell. Maybe you can be team leader! You have been a leader once before, right?" Master ask

"Yes but that was in the 6th grade, that time I was too shy. I had to make someone else do my work. I can't do that again, just picture me failing the team as each and everyone of them fall to the ground because of me." I said to Master

"No that will not happen unless, I teach you the ways to lead others and make you think on your feet of what choices you will make on the battlefield. I will teach you when the full moon shines on Jan 31st. Good night." said Master

"Wait the 31st! That's my birthday!" I yelled

But Master was gone.

I walked alone for a while before stopping at a loud party.

The only peron that came out was... Mark! The local bully that bullied Ryan when we were both starting high school at Bear Creak High School. He threw a root beer bottle at me, I blocked it by my hands and kept walking towards my house.

"Hey Jake!" someone yelled behind me.

I look around to see Mark throwing a punch at me! I move to the side making Mark fallng to the ground. I see him get and his face was full of pure rage and........redness.

"STOP MOVING SO THAT I CAN PUNCH YOU IN THE FACE!!!!" he yelled out loud

Then coming from out of the house people came out to watch the fight.

Mark yelled" Yo David, video this so when I win, we can show the whole school this!"

David nodded and got out his phone.

It was my time to shine.

Mark drew his right leg up and tried to kick, but I used the counter move. I grabed Mark's foot and when I got close enough I kicked hard enough to make Mark fall on his back. Everyone went "ohhh" I drop his leg and walked away to my house.

Hailey's pov

I fell to the ground by Elise. It was the first day of hand to hand combat. Master said in a whisper" Watch Jake how takes down Ryan" I watch Jake's moves. Jake has been taking lessons with Master! 

"Up for another round?" said Elise in a tunting voice

"Now I am!" I repiled to her

I did the same thing Jake did with Ryan and now....now I'm loking down at Elise.

"Where did you learned that?!" said Elise in a stunning voice

"I watched it from Jake." I said

"What a copy cat." she repiled to me

During school tomrrow at lunch...

"Hey guys." said a person behind me

I look around to see Ashely.

"Oh hey Ashely. Do you want to sit with us?" said Elise

"Sure." she said

"I've heard that Jake likes you." said Hailey

"Really! I like him too!" she said with excitement

"He should really ask you to go to prom with him once prom starts." I said

"Tommorow I will try to dress nice." Ashely said to us

"Besides, his best friend Ryan said that Jake's birthday is tommorow!" Elise said

Tommorow morning at the school...

"Where is Jake?!" said Ashely

Whoa, this girl is in total love with Jake!

"Clam down. Jake will be here soon just wait for a few minutes." I say

Suddenly Jake came out of the bushes with a red rose in his hand.

I started to cry.

He walk right up to Ashely and went on one knee and ask clamly " Ashely, will you be my girlfriend?"
