The Subjects (BBS)

Chapt. 33

Basically POV
     I woke up in the abandoned warehouse with 407 nowhere in sight.  I got up and looked around for him.  I started getting nervous when he was nowhere in the building so I called Vanoss just in case he went home. 
      "Yo dude did you find anything there?"  Vanoss immediately asked as he answered the phone. 
      "No I was just calling to see if 407 went back to the base."
      "What he's not with you?" He sounded more urgent now. 
      "No I was knocked out and when I woke up he was gone." I started getting scared that no one knew where he was. 
      "Well over head here so we can figure out anything about where he is."
     "Okay I'll be there soon see you later."
     "Kay see you soon."
     I hung up the phone and headed for my truck.  I got in and drove back to Chilled's base.  I got there after a little while and went inside.  I found the gangs pacing the computer room.  When I walked in I was attacked with questions.  I flinched back away from them and felt a change in me that I haven't felt in a while.  My bones started shifting and the everyone started backing away.  I haven't shifted into my wolf form since I first got the ability from William.  I went on my hands and knees and I felt flames go through my skin as fur started to cover me.  The rest of my bones got set in the right way and my hands and feet shifted into paws.  I felt my ears enlarge and a tail come out of my back side.  I was panting by the time the transformation was finished.  I was laying on the ground looking up at the people.  Some of them gave me confused looks others gave me scared looks and even others gave me pitiful looks.  My wolf side that I've pushed down in me started to come out.  He was getting scared by all these people and whimpered backing away from them.  I tried to stop moving away from my friends but my body kept scooching back until I hit the wall.  Mini walked towards me with his hands out in front of him and I started to growl at him.  He stopped where he was when he heard the growl. 
     "Basically it's your friends calm down."  I tried to calm down the best I could but my wolf side would not ease up on them.  "Why don't you change back into your human form?" I shook my head no.  I would love to change back human but I can't.  At least I don't know how to.  When I first shifted it took a while for my body to naturally change back to human.  So it would take a little while for my body to change back and until then my wolf side would be the more dominant side.  Wildcat started to walk towards me the same way mini did with his hands up.  I growled as he got closer.
     "Basically why don't you go rest until you can change back," He said getting closer than Mini had.  I nodded my head agreeing and he smiled at me.  "Chilled do you have a room for Basically to stay in?"
     "Yes follow me." I got up and stood about the height of most of their shoulders.  They gawked at me as I followed Chilled out.  We walked down the hall to an unused bedroom.  "You can stay in here as long as you need to." I nodded a thank you and he shut the door behind me as I walked in.  I laid on the bed and closed my eyes letting sleep take over my exhausted body.
