Terminal illness, means certain death right? It doesn't mean it'll be fast. I have ALS, Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, or as I call it Lou. "Lou Gehrig's Disease," is a progressive disease that affects nerve cells in the brain and the spinal cord. Which means it'll paralyze me and slowly stop my organs.
I get this drug called riluzole, it make the process slower, basically making me live longer. Or killing me slower if you put it the other way, heh.
They gave me a month to live, I lasted three, but I can feel my body slowly giving out. I'm kinda lucky seeing all my family is dead, maybe they're waiting for me, maybe not. I don't really have any close friends anymore dead or just drifted away when they heard I was dieing, not wanting to deal with the sick kid. So I had no visitors, all except one, who I learned his name was Max.e
Max was a big buff man that I never seen before and walked right up to me and said.
"Childhood."
"Huh?"
"You can start over from childhood, if you gave me a favor later."
"..What?"
Max sighed gruffly,"Look kid, either you die or go back in time which is it going to be if you had to choose?"
"Uh..Childhood..I guess..?"
Max nodded," You'll be grateful for this kid, all I need later is a favor."
"Umm.."
"Promise me you'll give me a favor?"
"Uhh..Sure?"
Max nodded again as I felt my body freeze up. The heart monitor thing started to admit a lonesome long beep and I heard people yelling.
My eyes shut and I felt no more.
I have the next chapter ready to publish but it's up to you guys to review and get it :3
