I was having a good time until my dad came up there and told me that i had to go to a family company with him for a business occasion. I really dont like going to these things. I mean it's nice to dress up and all but , i never really talk to anyone there. So since we are leaving at 7:25 its 6:30 and i decide to get dressed. Once im out the shower i find a dress. I found a dark blue dress with ruffles coming down the top and off the shoulder. (dress above). Then i pair the dress with some black strap heels. I decide to straighten my hair. I never really did but changes can be good. Once im done with that i brush my teeth then decide on makeup. For the eyes i decide to do a Smokey Eye then for my lips i do a nude lipstick. I pair the outfit with some silver small hoops. I grab a little purse and put my phone and money in it. DONE.
So we left and me and my dad start to talk.
"Sweethart my company says that they have kids aswell. They may be your age" he says trying to make me excited.
"Maybe they do dad but if they don't im sure adults will do just fine." i say smiling.
We arrive to the building and let me tell you..IT'S HUGE. At the outside it's painted baige with a little sand type color. The doors are see through glass which is kinda cool. Unless someone looks right through it. Inside the house, the walls are baby blue and the floor is tile wood. The kitchen is a decent size. A staircase and a few rooms. And the living room is gigantic, the couches and everything.
One of my dads friends comes and say hi to him.
"Hello Carl. Thank you for attending tonight". He says while shaking his hand.
"It's my pleasure" he says.
"Who may this be?" carl says looking at me.
"Sarah Carson. " i say with a smile and shake his hand. After like 100 people and many introductions and hand shakes i finally get to wander around. Dad said there would probably be people my age so why not go check?
I look around and see a boy with blond hair. I walk up to him to say hi.
Turns out to be Dane.
"Hey Dane" i say smiling.
"Oh god, hey Sarah. What are you doing here?" he says smiling aswell.
"My dad has a company here silly." i say and giggle.
"My dad does too. Which one is yours?" he says questionably.
"Carson Company. I never liked the people though. They are rich yes, but they act so snobby." i say truthfully.
"Yeah if that ain't the truth then i dont know what it is." he says and we start laughing. We talked for a while and i find myself actually liking the whole party. I didn't really know anyone else here so me and Dane just talked half the whole night. It was time for me and my dad to go when...
